If you are in the journalism program or were selected, what do you think differentiates you from your peers? And what do you think I can do to increase my chances, whether it be additional tests to take, clubs to join, classes to enroll in? Thanks for the help! </p>
<p>Do you mean the School of Media and Public Affairs (SMPA)? It’s hard to get in as a freshman, but there are transfer opportunities after freshman year. </p>
<p>I got in as a freshman for the 2014-15 school year. From what I have heard, it is pretty hard to get into. I think that being editor of my school’s newspaper and my common app essay that focused around journalism really helped me. Good luck! </p>
