<p>I heard that IU had a good journalism school. Can anyone verify if they feel their classes are preparing them for a career, and if they think employers will be impressed with the degree?</p>
<p>I'm thinking I'm applying to Northwestern (reach), Syracuse, University of Southern California (too expensive w/o a scholarship, same goes for Syracuse), and UMD (state school - safety). I was thinking an alternative safety might be IU. Does it have a good honors program? </p>
<p>P.S. Obviously I'm having a hard time finding a good match combined with a good price, so if anybody has an suggestions for other schools, I'm all ears...</p>
