I'm really indecisive, so naturally choosing a major has been really hard for me. I really can't decide between a journalism major or a communications major with a concentration in public/mass media communications. I don't have too much room for changing my major anymore after this semester, so whichever one I choose I'd need to stick with. It's always been my understanding that communications gives you more job options and you don't need to be a journalism major in order to necessarily work as a journalist? I'm not sure if I'm making much sense, sorry. I'd want to work for a magazine or work in public relations. Is there any differences or advantages between the two? Thanks!
