No not yet, but she will transfer in August.

"- Ops with BB in Houston (take a wild guess, right?)
- Summer analyst w boutique hedge fund (sub $10BB aum) in NYC
- Equity research at a known buy shop in my home city "

Ops? Equity research?

Dude, no one wants to know about the mid/back office. You know nothing about investment banking (proper.)

BB? Are you talking about credit ratings? No one denotes billions as BB. That’s only with millions (MM.)

Edit: UMDCP? Is that even a top 50 school? I hear Raymond James recruits there…

You think I took ops in Texas. Seriously? Got asked and I answered.

Two years of free education, a great time, and a perfect GPA. Transferring out in the fall. What’s so funny? Sure recruiting sucks (don’t even think RayJay recruits here haha). And some people are perfectly happy with Raymond James - there are tons of jobs and tons of skillsets. So what’s wrong with Raymond James?

There’s nothing wrong with Raymond James just like there’s nothing wrong with UMDCP students…

lol this thread is becoming so amusing :P

OP: Its really disheartening to see you couldnt get the internship at JP that u wanted :(. Im a stern transfer and this is kinda disheartening for me as well :(.

But yea i guess that like somebody said in this thread that those firms want junior/soph interns more than freshman ones.
