Jr. High Schoolers: YES or NO

very true, indeed.

It seems to me that the term "high school" includes "junior high school" and "senior high school" in English, just as it does in Chinese.

So some 8th graders post in the high school life board, deal.

Wantascholarship - looks like popular opinion is your thread is welcome here!

what??? i think you had a typo, but urm..thanks :D hahah

well you can always pose as a high school student

excuse me?

i have no intention of posing as a high school student until i actually become one. i mean, seriously. whoever wants to be considered older than he/she really is?

A freshman in a bar? /jk

hahah..i guess that's kind of true. maybe i said that because i'm surrounded by my sister and parents, who always moan "i'm too old...."

Okay - I got the disappointing SSAT results back today. I think I will retake them cuz they're worse than I expected. Only a 43% in verbal, 58% in math and 56% in reading - I know - they suck! Anyway, after taking it I thought I'd be in the 60-70% range, so it looks like I'll be taking it again. I guess one can never tell how the scores will end up if you're used to taking the National ERBs! Figured I'd let those of you know who I told I would let them know how things turned out!

ugh!.............

ohhhh man if you got that i probably screwed it...did you get it today? (monday)

which schools are you applying for again?

Yes, I got them today. I knew the worst score would be verbal but I didn't expect it to be that low! Actually, the schools I'm applying for accept around the 50th percentile so I may actually be okay with those scores, but I'm going to retake it because my school and parents are convinced I went brain dead that Saturday. I will retry and see how it comes out!

ohhhh the schools i'm applying for require like 90% at the very least...ugh....i'm DOOMED.

and why won't ssat send me my scores? they say they will by TODAY, but my inbox is empty..eh

and it's STILL empty!!!!

okay. i need to sue ssat. it's 9:13 PM and they STILL didn't send me my scores. i think i can eat my computer up right now if that's what it'll take me.

SSAT doesn't promise all scores to students until 30 November 2005, so relax and enjoy Thanksgiving and look again next week.

aw man! chopper already got his (or hers, i'm not srue)!! not fair >:[
hahah i'm just so bummed. i screwed it...and i need at least 90 percentile to even dream andover or exeter...egh. thanks, though.

I got mine because we paid an extra $20 to have the scores emailed to us. That way we didn't have to wait for the mail time. Maybe that's why I got them on Monday. They sent them to the schools on Friday the 18th, and ours on the 21st. Hope that helps!

Also, I'm a his (not a hers)! :)
