Jrotc??

<p>Anyone else in CC in a JROTC program? I was kind of curious on how much JROTC would contribute to your chances in gaining admission. I have heard from my friends that are now attending academies that JROTC plays a rather big part because it is a class and an extracurricular and it also requires lots of time to commit to (waking up early, leadership position within battalion, Drill and Ceremonies which apparently counts as a sport, and etc.). I plan to apply to academies but I also plan to apply private universities as well. I have not seen anyone on this forum so far that put JROTC on their accepted/rejected/deferred section for universities. Does anyone have an idea?</p>
