JSA at Yale

Is anyone participating JSA at Yale this summer? I'm not sure if I'm going because it's so expensive. Is it difficult to get in?

Anyone have any comments, please ???

i went to JSA Yale last summer and it was a total blast. i would say it's well worth your money. i met tons of amazing people and the opportunities were phenomenol. we went to new york city and sat with a panal of circuit court judges. then we went to the UN and had a question & answer session with the south korean ambassador, iraqi ambassador, and the chairperson of UNICEF. i was completely blown away. and living at yale was so much fun. it was definitely a good sneak peek at college life.

getting in didn't seem that difficult to me. as for the price, it's pretty steep but Yale on a resume doesn't hurt and you get your money's worth. all your food is paid for (unless you decide to forego commons and check out gourmet heaven, au bon pain, or my favorite: oolong tea bar) and your courses are taught by professors flown in from colleges and universities all over the country.

how do you get in?

hey i went to the JSA at Yale Summer program, my aim is HansukeSakamoto if you have any questions.

It's not selective.

My friend went and the next year placed as a top 10 team in a Constituational law tournament, then stole first place the year after. She credits her success to that program. It's well worth it if you want to go into law or government.

How does one apply to JSA? and what does it stand for? lol :)

I also would like to know how you apply for this program, so...

Bump!

I'm interested in doing the program. I know there are sev. locations to apply to and I donno where I might apply to but there's one in Georgetown, Stanford, Princeton, and Yale. What are the courses you take like? Do they require homework during free time or is it just in class stuff?

A constitutional law contest?!

I have to know what this is.

Can someone please post as to how one applies to these programs?

My sister did this! She absolutely loved it, and the Yale campus is beautiful.

www.jsa.org has all the information you'll need to apply.

I recently posted a message on another thread detailing the experience. (I went to G-Town this summer.)
