Jsa

is JSA summer school worth going to??? or is it one of those other scammer summer programs??

which one should I apply to?? Georgetown or Princeton, Yale?

I heard it's worth it.

which one should I apply to tho? Gtown, princeton, or yale?

does JSA admissions require SAT/PSAT scores to be sent????

nope - no scores necessary. it really isnt that competitive to get in. ive never heard of anyone who was rejected.

Its not incredibly hard to get into, the Georgetown program is a little more intensive, but for the most part, in my two years there, I havent experienced teachers giving out grades. They dont hesitate to fail people.

so...do many people get A's in the AP classes? (Compr. Govn't?)

hm. well i took Gov't the year after my freshman year, and I was one point from an A, so B+, there werent "many" As, but it also depends on the teacher, it will require some work for the average person, but it is certainly not impossible. They do teach them like they teach their college classes. Some teachers hold on to As more than others do. I know in some of the more advanced classes, like Foreign Policy, it is a little harder to get an A than it is in Government. If youre a good writer, and you are good at essay writing (3 essay tests, and a final 12-15 page analytic paper is what determines your grade and a small fraction, like 5-10% is based on your debates) you will be fine. The emphasis of course is on writing and speaking. I found the communication classes to be far more difficult in terms of getting the grade than the goverment courses. The latter tended to be more straightforward.

hmm.. sounds fun. i really want to go, but it's too expensive :(
