Juinior at UC College looking for some job in food management, processing, or technol

I am currently a junior at UC-Berkeley majoring in Environmental Economics and Policy.
I am interested in doing something in food management, technology, or processing down the road. I can envision myself being some kind of manager for a food company. I enjoy being around food, cooking, serving, taking orders, and giving orders. I have experience working in a kitchen for both a small and large organization.

I know my major has nothing to do with my career path but its too late to switch to anything else and there really isn't any major I am interested in besides Business Administration (and its too late for that).

So, I am desperately looking for some kind of food related internship or job that I can do over the summer. Do you have any tips as to where I should be looking?
My school website has no jobs related to my career field. And I am getting really desperate now since the semester is dwindling down. I really wouldn't mind working anywhere in the US given the pay is decent and the job is somewhat exciting challenging. Otherwise I would prefer to stay in California.

I was briefly thinking about culinary school but I don't really want to be a chef. I want to be kind of like a manager in charging of overseeing operations.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

How about looking into some of the hospitality and industrial food production inspection company’s. Look for food safety and environmental hygiene. Check AIB, Steritech, or in-house quality control at large food corp’s. - You might even be able to use your major and have fun too. Best of Luck…

yes i will be looking into the hospitality and industrial food companies as well
one of my biggest concerns is that after scouting about 15 food companies (ie. Dole, Nestle, etc…) there are very few entry level jobs or internships (most of the jobs ask for 2-4 years experience doing this or that), specifically in internships I am yet to see even one opening in San Francisco Bay area or Los Angeles. All the openings I have seen so far are all on the east coast.
