Has anyone ever done this program or does anyone know anything about Julian Krinsky internships? I did a search and only found maybe one or two people on CC who've ever actually gone. It sounds like a promising program, but I'm wondering if it's worth the money. Would it be smarter to go to this program or to just find a internship closer to where I live (Indiana)?

I’d try PM-ing people if you haven’t already. Sounds expensive.

I looked into that program too and asked around. It seems like an awesome program, but you’re paying a lot of money to work as an intern…usually interns are either unpaid or have a small stipend, so having to pay seems kinda strange…

If you haven’t already, register for Krinsky! I went in July 2010 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m from Michigan- most people were from the east coast, but were all AMAZING! My roommate there is still my best friend even though we live nowhere near eachother. I interned at a vet hospital, and the staff were really nice to me, and treated me as real employee! On the weekends, we went to D.C. and Dorney Park! My roommate and I split off in DC and saw the indian museum and white house instead of going with the rest to air and space museum- Although its a camp, you get SO much independence. I can’t say enough about Krinsky- I LOVED IT and would so go back again if I could! We aren’t rich and definitely splurged to pay for a 4000.00+ camp, but it was worth every penny. Oh, and it DEFINITELY helped me get into college (I now go to Tisch at NYU)
