jump from regular Physics to AP Physics C

i didn't want to double on ap chem and ap physics, and rather than jumping into ap physics so i am taking ap chem and regular physics and then proceed to physics c. I know there is a HUGE difference in an on level and AP, but i hear mixed views about this, from "dont do it your gonna fail" to "you can do it, but the only difference is that the math is much harder". What should i do?(I am a junior in Calc BC, and i would have been finished with calc by senior year)?

The thing about Physics is you don’t need to have any prior knowledge except for math. Knowing Calculus before going in is a huge advantage, and the fact that you’re getting some experience in regular Physics will help you even more.

There’s nothing wrong with that doing that. At my school you don’t even need to have taken physics before taking C. You’ll know calculus so there’s no problem. :)

I took Physics B junior year and I’m in Physics C this year, and it’s been fairly easy so far. Granted, we’re still only on forces, but still.
I love Physics C. I wish we used unit vector notation in Physics B.
