who's taking it =]

me.. and i have not even started studying my PR book yet... currently enrolled in honors physics class... i don't think i can even break 600. any tips for me?

Me. I'm gonna go over all of PR since my AP Phys teacher this year didn't teach me anything.

me, have to self-study everything since my class is worthless. I got 670 on the test in the blue book knowing only cons. of energy and f=ma so hopefully I can squeeze out a 700+ score

me, i took the sparknotes one and got 790, does anyone know if sparknotes physics is accurate?

I took the May one, and it was harder than anything I had seen before. I'm currently in AP Physics B and have a 103 average =/
Now, I do recommend using the books extensively because clearly my class didn't prepare me well at all as there is a lot of modern physics and physicists on it.

sparknotes is considered slightly harder, so adamonkey you're on track.

ooo..i'm taking it. I'm taking physics B, and just how hard is it??? is it exactly like Ap Physics test?

I'm taking, currently in Honors Physics I, but I have to self study so much stuff, its crazy.

The spark notes is the one on the net ? Or do they have a book (which is different ?)

thanks a lot lolcats4
and yes R-DNA, it's the one on sparknotes, the website

im taking it
hoping for that 800 :/

im taking it , i think its the easiest one or at least it should be after taking ap physics. I am a little worried about the modern physics and the wave stuff which is not covered by the physics c but with the curve so lenient it should be preety easy to get a high score

lol the curve IS very lenient. I've taken AP Physics B and probably got a 5 on the AP exam. I looked thru a book, i think it was kaplan's, and i think the stuff is very easy-looking....and for me, books are generally much harder than the real thing.

don't be fooled by Kaplan!! Their practice tests took me an average of 30 minutes to complete, and I'd get 800's each time. By comparison the real thing is 10x harder!

wat is the usual phyz curve? how many wrong still qualifies you for an 800?

thx

someting like 7 or 8 wrong u can still get a 5, according to one book that might be inaccruate xD

I'm in regular physics and I feel prepared for everything except Nuclear and Thermal physics (and I'm using Barron's to fill in the gaps).

it's a lot more than 7 or 8 wrong for an 800 I think

well idk but that would seem super easy then.
