June 10th - ACT essays!!!!!

Eh, don't worry about the essay. It doesn't affect your score. :)

I got a 34 composite, 35 english, and a 4 on the essay ( I was really lazy).

Took the test today and I wasnt too happy with my essay.. I wrote 2.5 pages :(.. Is that considered short?

wazzup, 2.5 pages isn't too short if your essay was good.

I dont think thats possible if you score a 4 on your essay the highest you can score on english is a 33

That's a separate combined score. I think I got 32 on the combined english/essay score.

I wrote a little over a page and a half and that was as fast as i could write; however i supported everything, kept my essay well constructed, and shot down the opposing view.

Please let us know what you get on it when the scores arrive ttlyswt... would be interesting to hear what they think of it to compare.

Um...did anyone get their essays back if they took the APril ACT? I don't think I did...but may have just lost it in the junkyard I call a room.

Sen. Noodles, you don't get your essay back unless you first order Test Information Release, which is mailed four weeks after your scores are mailed, THEN order a copy of your answer document (you may be able to expedite this somehow if you call them, I don't know).
