English - Generous. They changed the formatting a little and included more difficult questions than usual. Guessing similar to December 2013. 74-75, 73, 71-72, 69, 67-68.
Math - Average. 59-60, 58, 57, 56, 55, 54
Reading - Moderate-Generous. The passages were pretty easy. Third third one included a new/uncommon format and difficult question. 39-40, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33
Science - Average. 39-40, 38, -, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 31-32

@Tyler3418 Haha thank you!!I hope to have 26+ at least. hopefully strong scores in reading, sci and english.Math idk I am worried.

I just hope for a miracle.I answered all questions.

I highly recommend grockit. It uses questions from the many red books released, they just reword it no lie.

Lol I feel like ACT I can improve by myself with little to no money used lol…though I have to be quick since ACT is changing…dont want the new format lol

How is it changing its format?

@SammyxB did you think their formatting looked a little different here? I did for English and Reading. I hope you get your 26. I was hoping for a 30, but now it is looking like a 25-27 for me.

@cb1230 I want to find that google docs too…

@SammyxB
Did anyone else put none of hypothesis when it asked which experiment had butterfly not doing lipid thing before or after migration?

Yes, I also put that answer. It was kind of confusing because I wasn’t 100% sure if it meant they were storing lipids during or before migration, but I just went with my gut and I hope that was right.

I didn’t answer number 37 on the math test, I forgot to get to it haha. I told myself I would put down “D” though, so hopefully it won’t be D when the answer sheet come out. I would ahte for that to be what makes the difference between 31 or 32 or something.w

On my first test I got 35 reading, 32 english, 28 math, 29 science (31 composite) If I improve the math and science by ONE point this test, I get a 31.5, which rounds up to 32…the anxiety is real my friends.

Im scared .I hope I do well…I really do.

Yes it is changing format. If you looked at how the reading and english questions were, they are not the format ACT tests before this one usually were. And it makes sense since ACT announced how its changing its text in 2015.

It was very different from what I studied. And thank you I appreciate it. I plan to apply to UGA

In the science section, was it Strain X or Strain N when it asked for something like “To which strain should the scientist(s) test the LIVE yeast on”???

I said strain n lol

i forgot exact question but I recall saying strain n

I don’t remember Airbus, I think I sort of half-guessed that question. I think it the OPPOSIte of whatever the first figure was about.

I think 1st figure was about strain X

This is my second ACT test and i must say this time around it was far more simple. In ratings from easiest to most difficult i would say…

1.) English (perhaps because this is my strength) although a tad bit harder than the test in April.
2.) Science, compared to the last test this was a slice of cake. Most questions were too simple for me…? Somewhat scary as if the test writers are trying to play a diabolical trick.
3.) Reading, i am seeing a lot of feedback saying reading was quite hard, but personally i thought it was not too shabby.
4.) Mathematics, this for me is always a struggle and has remained the constant difficulty from the last April test.

I hope everyone did well and receives the score they wish! :)>-

"Scores will be released starting on June 23. Students will continue to receive scores until August 8. "

According to ACT’S twitter

@sammyxb how can they just switch it like that… there r no books for us to study from for this new format… ugh I hate life so much

it’s ridiculous I mean ppl spend like 1,000s of dollars for classes an tutors and then they just switch the format

Well it’s all competition really…SAT changing cause they see how ACT getting more people…ACT changing to fight back.

They don’t care how much money people are spending. It helps them. Thats how it is sadly…it’s going to be very hard to get into college.

Then again,it is how it is.

What was the answer to the Bradbury article reading question that asked what was meant by “he would take up arms for or against a word” or something like that?
