<p>Friends, I have general question on ACT. Can we report the best score in each category from the 2 tests I have taken? I took one in Oct 13 and another in April 14 and my score varies in each category.</p>
<p>@saeerocks Colleges may choose to superscore your ACT (combine best scores from each section across multiple tests) but you still have to send in all the tests you want to be included in the superscore, you can’t pick and choose individual sections to send in.</p>

<p>I got in with a 33 ACT and only 4.15 GPA, and hardly no extra curriculuars </p>
<p>@nickster322 @VaishS Do you think some outstanding ec’s would help me get in? I also have a 4.08 wt GPA and like a 2100 SAT. No idea for ACT but hoping for 34/35 next time I take it. It’s my number one if I can get it</p>

<p>Only you can tell yourself if you are on the right track. Keep your essays unique and original and just all about YOU. </p>

<p>Now that ive heare uve done ur essays, I gotta buckle down tomoroow ;)</p>
<p>I’m applying to UCLA, UPenn, USC, UCB, Stanford, Columbia and Brown as well as matches and a safety. One of my essays was about overcoming being gay and how it’s affected me. I wrote about being bullied ALL the time in school and how when I realized during puberty that I actually was gay, it was terrible. Then I wrote about how I came to accept myself by being more outgoing, getting into ECs. I also included stuff about always having great grades, even through the darkest period in my life.</p>

<p>Sorry guys I was sleeping all day loool but yes ECs are a BIG factor, a lot of top colleges use stats to cut off the bottom half, ECs help determine who gets accepted</p>
