omg was it xy=-8???!! i thought it was obvious until i saw all tht absolue value garbage lol

no the x had to be in an absolute value bar, because it has to be positive

ace 22 tennis, A was the correct answer.

how did you find 19 for the third side

The graph reflected across the x-axis....I got xy = -8. I just graphed it on my calculator. I wasn't very sharp with math today.

oooooo for the xy = 8 one... i said the reflection of the equation over the x-axis would be xy = -8... did anyone else get that?

i got 6 for the base of the trapezoid.

it's xy = -8, i just plugged it into my calculator

x didn't have to be positive...did it?

oh man..i must've misread the conserving energy question!! oh well..physics is kinda difficult to pay attention to..

hmm making the x values always positive would make the y values always negative and the reflection should have had both negative and positive values for y

If X had to be in the a.v. bar then...DARN. UGhh.

You know what.. I really shouldn't have logged onto this site...haha...Totally killing me.

x didn't have to be positive... when u reflect individual points over the x-axis, you multiply the original y in (x1, y1) by -1, so that the new point is (x1, -y1). if y1 were a negative number initially, it would become a positive number

so no absolute value sign. answer was xy = -8

i thought since the point wwas being reflected over the x axis and it was previously in the first quatrant, it was now ging to be in the forth where x is positive and y is negative, 2 times -4 gives you -8

blood types? choice I and III. i^BB and i^B??

yea thats what i got

yeah, that's the right answer but i HATED how the test made u call upon concrete knowledge such as that... for my own sake, i was fine for the mitosis questions and the blood type question, but i hope they throw out the viscosity question

yes blood was I and III

please, i got that one wrong also, i was looking for the definition for a while and could not find it!

gymfreak123: i hope they throw that one out too! i took ap chem and we had to know that, but i still got it wrong..=[ but my point is that you had to take a class like ap chem to learn something like that, its not even taught in honors
