<p>The answer is c. I already understand permutations and combinations. For this problem I did "7 Pr 7" and got 5040 as my answer. This is obviously wrong since there are "repeats". You must get rid of repeats by dividing out the repeats. So you divide by "3 Pr 3" and "2 Pr 2" to account for the 3 M's and 2 I's respectively. Is this correct?</p>
<p>It's the total number (7) factorial divided by the repeats factorial. In other words, there are 3 m's and 2i's so the answer is 7!/(3!2!) That formula is in the book somewhere...</p>
<p>Was everyone able to do the Barron's Diagnostic Test 7th Edition in one hour? It took me like 20 minutes over to finish and I still scored low...</p>
<p>I didn't do like 7 questions. My score came out to be 33.3 which Barron's claims is "very good" albeit one of the lowest scores possible for "very good".</p>
<p>i think i got a 690 or 700 on the diagnostic test, but i left like 8 blank and stopped at around 57 minutes. i took a past test and supposedly got a 770 according to the person who scored it yet im not sure if they used the right scoring chart. we'll see how it goes once the june 2 scores are released :]</p>
<p>locus is a set of points that share the same property, in this case being equidistant from the set of points. Midpoint b/t P & Q is (-2,1), therefore one of the points has to be (-2,1). A is the answer.</p>
<p>I just started studying, so I'm not sure if that will be on the test, but it wouldn't hurt to know it.</p>
<p>I've never seen a locus problem on the test. Does anyone have the CB's book? The last problem on test 1 of level 2 is horrible. The way they set the graph up really contradicts itself - it's assuming i is equivalent to a positive number (which it isn't - it's imaginary). Anyone else have this trouble?</p>

<p>y=2cos(x)+3x</p>
<p>How do you find the amplitude?</p>
<p>How do you graph it?</p>
<p>I know that for the cos + sin one you do sqrt(amplitude^2 + amplitude^2) to find amplitude. The first "amplitude" is 1 for cos and the second amplitude is 2 for sin.</p>
<p>So amplitude of the composite=sqrt(1^2 + 2^2)=sqrt(1+4)=sqrt(5).</p>
<p>to delete programs press 2nd and the "+" symbol (it says MEM in yellow), then select number 2 and press enter , then select number 1 or "All...", then scroll down to the program that you want to delet and hit DEL and then choose yes.....</p>
<p>i'm not sure about your questions on graphing..... Where or from what book did those graphing problems come from???</p>
