June 2 US History

Charts were so annoying

Skater Girl -
I believe it's like 6-7-ish...not sure though.

akvareli it might seem like a lot of questions, 90 for us history, i still had 5 min left at the end to go back and look over the ones i skipped.

the math II was rather time consuming even though there are only 50 questions.

I omitted 4, but I'm confident that I got no more than 2 of the others wrong.

omg wat was the one that was like which is not true about spanish empire in americas? that they were wealthy nobility back in spain what i chose.

that wa ssooo hard.

I omitted 8 and suspect missed less then 15 or so....

I omitted 3, but probably got a lot more wrong. I have a nasty habit of reasoning myself into picking an answer instead of leaving it blank.

Wow. I don't know why (I'm not really a history person, usually, and I didn't feel too great about the APUSH exam), but I thought that was incredibly easy. I know that I got one wrong... and I probably missed a few others... but I think that I did okay.

EDIT: Okay, make that four wrong. =(

It was easy, imo. But I took AP.

i took ap and i thought the test was moderately difficult. more on the difficult side than easy. still not as bad as the lit test....

so umm question...i just took this and am thinking about cancelling it?

Do colleges automatically see ALL Of your SAT II scores or just the ones you send in?

Having not studied as much for this, it wasn't too bad. I had like twenty minutes to debate the ones I was unsure over.

Not too bad.

I chose the one that "They introduced the horse as well as gunpowder to the New World" because gunpowder was introduced by the Chinese wasn't it??? not the spanish. and i remembered traditional saying "an answer can only be true if EVERY part of it is true, and in this case only the introduction of the horse by the spanish was true.

someone correct me if i'm wrong.

several of the questions were surprisingly specific for a Subject Test...other then the 3 or 4 i skipped it was ok.

The chinese introduced gun powder to europe, the spanish introduced it to the native americans, so that was true. I put the wealthy nobility answer

I can't imagine the Chinese bringing gunpowder to America, as all current evidence that their fleets even arrived at America is fairly sketchy, in addition to the fact that black powder in china wasn't quite used in a manner that we'd expect, and that guns were invented in Europe from Arabia. What I suppose I mean by this, is that the Chinese, even if they did get to America first, would have had no reason to give, let alone have, black (gun)powder on the ships.

i chose wealthy noblemen. if i remember, people like Colombus came from Italy and other countries and not just close tied to spain. Also, during this time, didnt the spanish just drive out the moors? so it was a fairly new monarchy if little rich. i dunno...but i know for sure the Horse and Gunpowder was true.

dangit, there better be a generous curve this time around then.

I picked the Spanish didn't want to spread Christianity (their main goal was for glory/money) hope i'm right

I'm nearly 100% sure it was that all of the conquistadors were not wealthy and/or nobility. Didn't even learn that in APUSH, learned it in Spanish III, actually! Most conquistadors came from Extremadura, one of the poorest areas of Spain.
