it had to be physicians because taht is considered a "perfessional" that is highly regarded by society etc. but a women could easily just work in some cigar shop/factory. Women could not hold such prestigiuos jobs in the late 19th century.

Defnitely dust bowl. The cows were completley emaciated and ive seen the picture b4 somewhere.

who wroter the first open fronteir lit
frederick jackson turner right! his thesis :)

also for the cartoon with 1980s education what did you put?

and finally what did you put for the chart with 1980s expedintures

For the women's rights one, that asked who would be LEAST likely to support suffrage (or something like that)... there were 5 choices, 3 of them were women who supported it, and 2 choices were guys: Brigham Young and some other guy (what was his name??) ... I put that other guy, because I remembered this (quoted from Wikipedia): "In the secular sphere, Utah was at the forefront of women's suffrage, becoming one of the first states in the Union to grant women the vote. Education and scholarship was also a primary concern for Mormon women."

So... if the right answer was BY, CB needs to throw the question out!

For the painting, I put 1930s dustbowl too..I remember seeing a broken windmill and lots of dry plains in the pic..

Was Andrew Jackson one of the answers for the 'who said this' question?

no they do not because wikipedia is not a trusted source. it is written for the people by the people according to cb :)

Yeah Andrew Jackson said the quote about Native Americans.

ohh btw everyone the worcester v georgia most immediate thing was the departure of cheroke because although the others say they protected lands of the indians they were never enforced. reverse psyc trap for those reading fast :) i picked up on this

Well, I don't mean I remembered it from Wikipedia. I remembered from class that Utah was one of the 1st states to give women the vote, and that BY and the Mormons were a big part of the population of UT at the time. I quoted Wiki for convenience.

wait what were the choices in that dustbowl one?

ohh for womens temp it was most like others cuz women believed they had a duty... right?

also least religious colony when formed = virginia cuz its primary purpose was economic enhancement hence virginia company finance :)

colonial city one for which of the following is inccorrect was that rivers interconnected ALL cities :) guys you need to read :) cities were usually far apart

Oh, yeah the expidenture/deficit chart was kind of hard...but I put that there are other factors that affect the deficit? something like that.

anyone care to answer?

wasn't the least religious colony Rhode Island??

i put choice A for the chart

no omg it had the 2nd most toleration behind penn... it was formed by a disenter from massachussets named thomas hutchinson... duhh total religious toleration!

ay umm...what was the zoot suit?

For that colonial city one...it was an except question and I picked the choice that said "most colonial cities had populations under 25,000".

This was an ambiguous one, since I thought the rivers choice was good, too. But don't get me wrong, NYC, Philly, and Boston may not have had the millions of people in the 1700s that they do today, but they definitely did not have under 25,000 people.
