Thnaks Drkornruns u just made me really happy :)

all I could remember was that the "silent majority" were ppl tired of the government, basically... so ya, I put the Panama Canal answer

"Silent majority" was the support of the war in Vietnam.

Historical accounts show that slaves usually resisted their masters by...

was it slowing down pace of work/feigning illness or migrating to the north??????????/

Skipped that "Silent majority" question. Initially I answered something about Vietnam, but then I realized how totally wrong that was lol.

was it really support of vietnam?? I associate nixon with cutting troops from vietnam so thats why id dint choose it AHAGHSDALKHGDSL

O yea they were tired of anti-war crap. All i could think of was that they were from the south and voted for Nixon.

no problem :) deficit spending was of the answers! 200% :) you can share 100

how bout silent majority

Art_star you should have kept your answer, I'm 99% sure it was the people who supported the war in Vietnam. And jateer I put the same thing.

in my guide book, it says the Silent Majority were "Americans who were tired of big government, social and cultural unrest, and racial strife."

Term used by Nixon in a 1969 address, referring to the 70 to 75 percent of the US population that polls showed had confidence in him despite highly visible protests against US involvement in the Vietnam War???

This is what I hate about SAT testing...erasing answers you had right because they might be wrong, but then you find out the answer you put was actually right. sigh! I can't win.

That's right. They were the people who Nixon knew supported the war effort, but weren't nearly as public as the protesters.

jateer, I think I put that they poisoned their masters for that one lol...ehh...

OK puritans....they wanted to purify the church thing NOT break away sooo wth?
