I left 20 blank.... Can I get my 700?

and LOL @ all you overachievers who cry over a 790.

I don't think the curve will be more generous. Do you guys remember what your proctor said about canceling the scores? I know you were supposed to cancel right there, but I remember the proctor saying you either call them or write a letter, I don't exactly remember, does any one else?

permutations, the curve on the test is harsh if you don't get 800. By the time you're in the high 600s, you can be in the 40th or 50th percentile - not good if you're applying to selective colleges.

guguru:
My proctor said we can cancel our scores through overnight mail or fax. It has to reach them by Wednesday.

wait for the parabolic one about time i got like 1.8 seconds...

so...how many lines can be drawn that do not intersect the graph? it definitely looked like infinity to me.

answer 2 there were two verticle asymtotes, and a Horizontal asymtote at 0 but (0,0) was defined.

From now on, people search the entire thread before you ask a question.

Guys what did u put for the question about the average that deviates the least? I put C 8,9,10,10,11,12. What did you guys put

8 10 10 10 10 12
works through less variance
(yea AP stat)

I got the same, 8 10 10 10 10 12

Yeah, I just remember I put the one with four 10s. The mean is 10, and we want the answer choice with the least deviation from the mean.

was the one about the transformation of (0,0), (2,3)..... because I had a dream last night lol and the question in my dream said it was a circle with center (0,0) and it was looking for a point on the circle after the transformation.... i think ive gone crazy.. please tell me i have!

The circle had center (-2, 3) I think, and it asked you for the equation. I couldn't remember if a circle was x^2+y^2=r^2 or whether is was a minus sign, but I had a hunch it was positive so I put (x+2)^2 + (y-3)^2 = 4 (I think the radius was two)...

Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I didn't remember the center or something...

AquaRocket is spot on. I put the same answer.

i thought the test was pretty easy, i think i over prepped. the only one i didn't get was the one before the last one...the trapezoid, because i neglected to see that the second base could be found by COUNTING THE MARKS ON THE X-AXIS. i'm a retard.

i skipped 2 and missed 1 for sure so far... i think i might've missed up to 5. is that still 800 territory or borderline?

Skipping 2 and missing 5 would mean a raw score of 42. Which could be an 800.

I had 0 omits and only missed two (from what I have seen so far): The ln(x) one and the parametric equation one.

do you guys remember the one where it gave a line segment and a ratio, then asked you to find the coordinates of point c?

Yeah, I remember that dahuie. I was sooooo glad I checked my paper with the extra time I had, because I realised I had carelessly assumed it meant the ratio of AB:AC was 1:2, when in reality it was AB:BC. I changed my answer in return, but can't remember what it was.

ha yeah john i did the same thing
