i said the indians moved west.

the fur trade was largely in the west anyway.

the other choices were true.. we looked at so many Life magazines this yr!.. so yea M it has to be the college answer

same. indians moved west.
wait but now that i think about it wasn't the reason behind bacon's rebellion the fact that bacon didn't like the indians and governor berkley wanted to maintain a good relationship with them because of the fur trade?

I said they took up agriculture, because I remembered reading about that somewhere..And I dont think they moved west is the right choice because Andrew Jackson had to forcibly remove them.

Furs I assiociated more with the Natives to the west with the French and mountain men, I'm pretty sure that those who came in contact with colonials switched from hunter-gatherers to farmers.

i don't remember the indians taking up agriculture, but then again, i don't remember a lot of things.

I would be lucky to hit 600

yeah but Jackson had to forcibly remove the Cherokees .. they had attempted to assimilate within society.. whereas the other indian nations had moved further west where they formed diff alliances

Also what do you guys think is the answer to

not a problem in 1970s?? (LAST Q) Either vietnam or loans/ savings

I put social security because I thought the "greying" of America did not occur untill the 1980/90s, but I wasnt sure about the other choices except Vietnam, which went till 73 so Im pretty sure that was a HUGE problem economically.

oo there was a question on the Patriot act!!

I dont remember social security as being a choice.

ok everyone i have to go get ready for the movies! nice chatting with all of you .. byeeee

I dont remember a question on the patriot act at all, and Im sure there was a social security choice because I spent like 2 minutes on that question and it was at the end of the test.

Comp of 1850, KansasNebraska

can you guys elaborate on this? i forgot wat the questinos was

It was what effects did the compromise of 1850 have, other choices included harshening(is that even a word?) of the Fugitive slave law and entering of California into the union. Kansas and Nebraska was admitted with the kansas-Nebraska act, so it was the wrong and thus and right answer.

I dunno I'm still leaning towards the fur trade dependance one (but I just assumed I got it wrong). So far I'm at -8 (if the supply side one is correct).

800 (Please God please!)

i either got that one right, or left it blank.

gah.

Supply side EXCEPT Q's answer was not taxing the poor, I'd bet my left testicle on it.

Imagine your wrong.. LOL.
