June 2006 - US History

The family picture was Cult of Domesitity I'm pretty certain. I recognized it right off because it was on the AP DBQ lol

ok got the stimson act wrong :-( 4 blank, 5 wrong so far.

That's pretty good.

MD - NE abolitionist
land plot - Puritans valued community over isolated farmland
(If that's the one you're talking about.)

Land Plot one was something about being close together in a town and not spread out- I think.

Demeter are you hoping for an 800 like me?

and how did america get phillipenes and pr? not by purchase right?

They got it after winning the Spanish-American war, but they paid for it afterwards in good taste. The right answer was because of winning the war though, because the purchasing answer said they did it in exchange for arms or some other random thing.

I have 3 blank 6 wrong so far ~.~ Damn kent state could have still have chance for 800

Really? That's weird. I didn't see any pictures on my AP DBQ.

[1950/04 - Stalin met with Kim Il-sung in Moscow but would not support Kim's plan to invade SK unless Mao agreed to help: "If you should get kicked in the teeth, I shall not lift a finger. You have to ask Mao for all the help." Kim visited Mao in Beijing and assured Mao as he had assured Stalin that the U.S. would not respond. Mao gave his approval because Mao was planning to invade Formosa and wanted Stalin's help. Stalin began to send Soviet supplies to NK and to plan the invasion, using the cover story that it would be a "counterattack" provoked by an alleged attack by SK. Mao was preoccupied with planning the Formosa attack and was surprised when the sudden invasion began in June.]

Soviet support north korea.
U.N charter is correct.

Charchazwick - Yes, I am. But I don't mind getting a lower score. History's really not my strong suit.

demeter it was within the question, not as a seperate document. I looked it up when i got home because I had never heard of it in exact terms before =P

Yeah I figured I had the Korea thing wrong after everyone said it was UN charter

^what was the question for the UN charter thing?

tammany hall is infact spoils system i had it wrong.

ok so manifest destiny is the ne abol. yes got that right. the land plot...what were the answer choices?

Ohhh. You mean the "Cult of Domesticity". Not the picture. xP Sorry, I'm kind of slow today.

^ who ya talkin to?

i got the cult answer, too.

coming on here is such a bad idea. haha.

Ranks. (10 charries)

this is gonna be addicting

Amina - I totally know what you mean. I get so worked up. I'm not going near the Math IIc discussion, even though I think I did well on that test, too. The history one doesn't bother me as much.

what was the question with the answer being UN charter or something?

Yeah but it helps to know where you're at

I'm almost 90% certain that I'll get a 790 or 780, Im happy with it but..godamn, so close.

we need to compile answers now ! 1-90
What did you guys put for the EXPORT/IMPORT graph? it was an EXCEPT question.
