June 2007 chemistry

another day another sat test

w did you guys do today? I think it was pretty easy comparing to sparknotes. I hope I didn't make any stupid errors

I felt pretty confident in how I did. I thought the test was easier than Barron's and I did not run into any unfamiliar lab setups which was good. I have like 10 questions from the test that I just wrote down from memory that I stumbled on but I will not post them yet because I don't know if everyone has taken it yet....

MOst people wil not be at the center but you should not post them

I'm not at my center yet.

West Coast. ;)

OH yeah my bad I did the math wrong

EVERYONE on the west
coast and hawaii is not there yet

Yeah, so I'll wait, and rack my mind to put more questions together. There are some questions I only remember the answers to and not any of the other choices though or the actual question....

AHh gonna leave for test center now!! soo nervous

So Many Electrochem Questions! Ahhhh =)

What is the curve for the Chemistry exam? Can 4 wrong, 0 omits still be a possible 800?

I won't reveal any of the questions (if only I could remember), but I just want to tell future test-takers that you should definitely absolutely please please take practice tests. Lots of them. Timed. I knew all the material, but I didn't anticipate the rate at which I had to recall it. :</p>

that could probably be a 800 but it all depends on this test's curve.

Also, when is it "safe" to talk about questions that were on the test?

I'm really unhappy about chem.
I did a bit of Barrons, a bit of Mcgraw Hill.
I probably should have done more Barrons.

Low 600s anyone? I'm hoping not.

It's safe now. West coast = 3 hours behind us, so everyone is in test centers.

Oh my God!... That test was pretty hard. I won't reveal any questions, but some of those equation balancing questions took forever. On the end, there were five minutes left and 10 questions. I did 5 of them and left the else blank. I hope the curve is really good on this... Did any one notice the signing thing; it included not talking about the test on the internet or through sms... can we still talk about it here later?

Chem was rough. Take practice tests, people.

Are you sure it's safe now? or is it 24 hours? I've typed up something like 12-13 questions that I remember and me and Pinki10583 are collaborating our efforts to remember test questions.

Hm... I know you are not allowed to directly copy material from the test onto this page. In other words you couldn't write down all of the questions VERBATIM and post them online. I'm pretty sure you are allowed to discuss them, or talk about the general gist. If you look at CC's terms of agreement page for copyright infringement it says: "Copyrighted Material & E-mail Content. Please do NOT post copyrighted material in our forum. Examples of copyrighted material include articles from publications or websites, book excerpts, or any other content which you have not created yourself. Fair use allows brief excerpts, e.g., a sentence or two, from copyrighted material for the purposes of review and commentary; please do not post massive excerpts from any source. "

maybe check collegeboard?

God that was so long...I never had a problem with time during practice tests. I did 15 TTCE's in oh, 10 minutes. Fun, fun, fun. Those balancing/math questions were so annoying!!!

the the questions i have put together aren't like the full thing at all. mostly it's a summary sentence of what the question was looking for and the answer.
