Opinions on the test? After struggling on a practice test last night, I thought I was done for, but I actually found the test to be pretty easy. I got to go back and check about half of it, and couldn't find any that I was unsure of, but it's always concerning when it seems too easy. Anyway, I hope for high 700s.

I didn't really study for this, so I thought it was going to be really hard. Seeing as how the last time I took a Biology class was 2 years ago in Freshman year. But I decided to take it anyway because in that practice book for all the Subject tests with like 20 sample questions, I got all those questions right. So I decided to take it. And surprisingly I thought it was rather easy.

Yeah.....I was done pretty fast; I actually enjoyed taking the test. It was definitely a lot easier than the Barron's.
Now we just sit back and wait.

It was easy.
I planned to take M, but E seemed easier so i took it.

finished with 35 minutes to spare.
went over the test like 2 times too o.o

i finished it sooooo early (probably like 30 minutes)

i found it to be very easy as well - but i'm sure i got a couple wrong. My goal is really only 700 on all of my SAT IIs though so i'm not too worried.

yea, it seemed easier than expected but i know i already got 2 wrong and i ommitted 2....do u guys think the curve will be harsh b/c many ppl thought that it was easy?

i doubt it's gonna be any harsher than usual - it's not THAT great to begin with really.

I can't wait till they lift the embargo. :[

But yeah, it seemed a bit better than I thought it would be. :D The curve's going to be okay, maybe a bit less than we expect, I would think.

what's the curve usually?

it wasnt THAT easy.. :(
those four at the end of the test before e/m (if you know what im talking about) were hard...
i stared at them for the longest time o.o

but ecology and molecular were pretty even for this test.

Those four weren't that bad...

... okay I admit it, I don't remember what you're talking about. :]

do any of you know what the 800 cut off is...like 76 raw?

^ probably very close to that (~3/4 wrong = 5 points off = 75 = about enough for at least a 790)

The curve for bio is all right . that's all i can say from last time I took it. I got a 730, but i have no clue how many i missed. =

I agree, the test wasn't bad at all! There were some (dare I say) "dumb" questions on that test. I'm sure most of you know which ones I'm talking about. I don't remember how many I skipped, but I think it was around 3-5--maybe less.

Like everyone else said, I really do hope the curve is helpful. Good luck everyone!

Embargo Liftteedd~

I KNO i got 4 questions wrong....
i skipped one and got 3 wrong...
does anyone have any idea what the curve will be?
I'm deciding whether I should cancel or not

Doesnt look like too many people here took the test...or is the embargo not lifted yet?

What did you guys get for the blood questions?

cmon anyone wanna discuss...

I took E,

Anyone know the answer to the Galapagos Island one, the flesh of the peach, and the questions involving the blood type (blood clotting, oxygen flow, and fever questions)

i'm pretty sure about these:
peach=ovary
clotting was the subject 1 and iirc 5 (odd shaped blood cells in low o2 and high platelet count)
fever was person w/ high white blood cell count

M looked easier to me, and i don't even think i got any wrong... but i almost surely did.

I'm unsure of the menstrual cycle question... was the true statement "endometrial lining is shed if embryo does not implant"? i'm certain the statement is true, although i'm not sure if it wasn't a trick answer b/c the other answers looked pretty good too
