June 2009 - Mathematics Level 2

I thought it was pretty easy. Definitely 700+, omitted 3/4. Unlike USH, probably like 500 :x

curve predictions? any1?

The embargo is lifted! I’m pretty sure I missed two of the easiest questions the geometric sequence one (what a stupid mistake!), as well as the x + y = ? one… what did you guys get for those two?

what was the x+y q?
did you guys get 20% for one of the last questionss (dun remember the exact q number)

was the x+ y 2? and the ratio I got 6? maybe

ratio of triangle i got 6
i really dun remember the x+y q lolll
for the last q i got -2-2i

Well I can’t post the actual question, but it was towards the beginning - and it asked for the value of x + y. I got 6, but I think that’s wrong.

I skipped the one you’re taking about.

hmm i cant remember :frowning: :frowning: ^^
i do remember other qs tho

For the similar triangle one, I got 4.7

You guys got 6 for the triangles? I think I got a decimal. something :frowning:
I used the laws of sines one the first one, then used the ratio for the second one.

Was the geometric sequence 6 or -6?

-12. Almost 100% sure on that one

Thing about the sequence question, the question stated that it was i multiplied by the next term. The next term was i-2 or something like that, so I divided the term by i to get my answer.

^sorry that was in response to spratley

for the triangle one, wer eu suppsoe dot us elaw of sines?
aw man i didnt
i just set up a proportion :(

For the triangles, I did what spratleyj did.

similar triangle was definitely 4.7. and I’m pretty sure geometric sequence was -6

@sport
Oh i got -12 as well for that q

Yeah I did the triangle one wrong at first, but then I saw my mistake - I’m pretty confident I got it right. I had never seen that kind of sequence (geometric) before, and I put down 6 - but I’m pretty sure it’s -6.

How about the one with f(x), g(x), and f(x) (graphing techniques with roman numerals)?

what did you guys get for the solving for system q (it was a I,II, III type of q)
like find the x, or y or f(x)-g(x) sumthing liek that?

it was -12.
