June 2009 - Mathematics Level 2

@ spart, i chose I and III
but im so unsure of this q

I and III ricky

I put down the x values and F(h) which was f(x) - f(g) (I think).

Which is I and III I think :)

Could someone PM to explain the sequence question?

yay i feel better that u guys got same answer as me for that one

I got I and III too even though it was a desperation guess

did any1 get -2-2i for the last question?
i used geometric sequence for this

^I got that answer too

What the heck is exponential regression?

i got 24^^^ for exp regression

You just use the graphing calculator - I forgot what I got for that one… maybe 28 weeks? (I think it was choice C )

It’s 24. Also, I’m pretty sure I got -12 too.

sweet!! same answers^

Does anyone remember what % of people got between 70 and 90 on the test? I’d never seen that sort of graph before. I put 20%, because the graph had 90.5 and 69.5, and the difference is 21 (it said “inclusive” so I think rounding is ok).

Also, the one that was a triangle with sides 3, 4, and sqrt(37). I tried to do that one with polar coordinates or something instead of the law of cosines and I’m not sure if what the right answer was.

i got 20%^^^
i used law of cosines and then did like sine of that and i got like 0.866 or sqrt3/2

Was 24 choice C? Does anybody remember the x + y one?

damn, I guessed 21 =(. and skipped the last one. i know this should be easy, but does anyone remember the standard deviation answer? I forgot how to do it and didn’t know there was a program on the calc =/

i said -12…cuz i thought x was -3 and y was -9 (or vice versa) but i might be wrong…does anyone have a definite answer?

@lald99 i got choice D?
like 8,12…

The answer to the years was 24 I think.

Can someone explain how to do that boxplot one? I’ve never seen that before.

I guessed (8,10,10,10,12) for the SD one - I think it was d.
