awkturtle: i’m quite sure as it is gene map is definitely in the passage. philosophical isn’t directly stated and can be a speculation on the test-takers part at most. choose the best answer, and in this case, scientifically inclined as there is definite evidence. believing in fate does not mean he is more philosophical than the author. philosophy is study of thoughts on existence and human purpose and other abstract stuff, not really mythology or fate or divine stuff.

Still under debate

Scienctifically/philosophical (most leaning towards scientifical)

Mechanical meaning (physical? regulated? coincidence?)

Volcanoe/tropical/cave for the one where most likely rocks split

Poke fun of/Inconsistency with the capital letters one.

Mabs, I don’t think so. I asked about equanimity in the thread before and a few people said that was right. Not sure though, I just guessed. XD

And RTGrove, that’s what I put.

i dont remember anything about black art…

any of this look familiar

empathy
pompous
virulent
technical “jargon” question

Can anybody give more details about vehemence and ire? I had CR experimental, so i’ve seen every question, but I have absolutely no recognition of it.

Thanks Prism,

Ya, I said the one with equanimity in it

it was definitely not vehemence…
from dictionary.com: Characterized by forcefulness of expression or intensity of emotion or conviction; fervid

it was something like the crowd was _____ (synonym to angered) but remained _____(synonym to calm).

yeah i can see how it was scientifically oriented although i hope it wasn’t cause i put philosophical! :P

And it was defintiy not ire…

It was (angry in the first blank)…so vehemence and resentment could work, but the seonld blank was more of a (concilatory)…ire means anger again…it was def. not double anger…

equinamity means toned down a bit.

It can’t be vehemence and ire.

Both of them mean anger.

The sentence was like:

“Brandon (random name)'s accusation aroused our _________ but we kept ourselves calm with our __________.”

Vehemence and ire both mean anger, so that doesn’t make sense.

Equanimity means calmness, so it should be E.

I put empathy, don’t remember putting pompous, I put virulent but the answer was the other one I can’t remember but I looked it up on dictionary.com, it was the one about the virus and how it was changing. The jargon one with colloquialism I put it was an impediment to the public

equanimity (not vehemence/ire)

scientifically inclined (still in debate w/ philosophical) - husband definitely showed and explained to wife the gene map. philosophically inclined has to be inferred by the reader and the only opposing argument is that he believes in fate. The colors indicating same lineage on the gene map does not indicate that he is more philosophical. That is what a gene map tells you; it traces the lineage, which all lead back to Africa (this is my prior knowledge), so by explaining that the colors indicate the same lineage and same people, the husband isn’t being more philosophical. He is just speaking about conclusions that can be drawn from the gene map. choose the best answer: scientifically inclined because there is hard evidence

^yea i put the one with empathy…it was a double blank?

so agreed that it was Tropic Ocean is where rocks break the most?
^that question really sucked…because its so subjective.

I realy hope capital letters = poke fun but im not sure.

i’m not kidding, all of my 800 CR friends got philosophical.

Add engagement = involvement to the big list of answers.

what question was negligent, essential

What was the eating nutrients question?

the emphathy one was ambition, empathy.

@eg2333
i was about to put virulent but then i was like “oh!!!” tricky
i didnt know wat protean meant but everything else didnt work so its protean anyways

It wasn’t pompous… I remember ruling that out.

It was protean for the virus, I put benign cause I had no idea. What does benign mean then? XD

For the microscopes one, why was infinitesimal > grand…w/e?

i thought it was scientifically oriented b/c he used a gene map and alistair or something didnt have a philosophy i couldnt find it in the passage
