June 2009 SAT International - EXPERIMENTAL

Sooo, I'm guessing everyone had 4 math sections?

Is it actually possible to determine which is experimental if everyone had the same tests??

lol I'm hoping the marble k-w or w-k question is on the experimental haha I still don't know which is the correct answer >.<

I hope Sec 2 (w/10 grid-ins) will be the equating one as I missed the last one (the grid-in) providing slope of a line ranging and then asking for the value of OA. (1.8 was my answer)

I wish that was the experimental one too cuz I got that one wrong as well! lol but I highly doubt it since that was the only section with grid-in questions…=(

Nope ,the experimental one was the one with the logical question (If u learn … you will pass the exam )

Yeah I also messed up in the grid in one. Two questions there, and the only two so far that I’m aware of. Pity, I think I kinda liked the one with the logical question…

Anyway, all will be revealed eventually…

Oh where did the tricky plumbers ques y/(y+x) fall? Was it in the same section w/ the logics one lollz?
Pretty sure not in Sec 2 w/ the grid-ins

Section two wasnt the grid ins.Section was CR ,section 3 was 20/25 M (exp) ,section 4 was grid ins ( y/y+z)

Section 2 was CR. Three and four were math. I remember doing 2 maths in a row in between my breaks.

Yep, I think it was as follows:

1) Writing
2) CR
3) Math
4) Math
5) CR
6) Writing
7) Math
8) CR
9) Math
10) Writing

Please do point out any mistakes above. It’s a little hazy now…

I’m pretty sure you’re right, Sci-Fry.

CR7, how can you be sure that’s the experimental?

Either 3 or 4 had to be experimental (as they were back to back math). 4 was grid-ins and there was only one. So 3 had to be experimental.

why couldn’t 7 be experimental?

I think it’s because section 7 was 20 minutes and there has to be a 20 minute section.

7 was 20 mins? I thought only 9 was 20 mins. Lol

9 was 20 mins, 7 was 25.

I believe usually the back to backs are the experimental. None of the practice tests in the BBs or the one posted collegeboard have back to back sections of the same subject. The subjects always cycles consistently.

Oh true…frig I was hoping section 7 would be experimental. There weren’t really any “tough” questions that made you think in section 3, except maybe the logic one.

Was the plumber question in the experimental section?

anybody remember whether the plumber is in which section?

The plumbers were definitely in the 18/25 grid ins section… :(

and the medicine qus? in which Sec?
