sine i've taken the Jan test, CR section only matters to me..
i think CR was so-so... two sections were rather easy while there were some tricky questions. Vocab, super hard. share your opinions. (I think we can start discussing cuz the US ppl are already taking the exam...? if not, plz do so after the exams end)

I thought that vocab was pretty easy compared to Jan test… there was one passage I found a little more challenging, but after rereading parts of the passage (since I had time left), i realized the questions I got wrong and fortunately had time to change them >.<
I don’t think we can discuss specific questions JUST YET cuz of the embargo.
I’m so angry since I erased a correct vocab answer TT I thought it would be safer to leave it blank…
So far, I’m feeling pretty good about the CR section. Math and Writing were both cool for me but it’s hard to say since I could be over confident, like I was on the January test TT

oh rly? ok then… when are we supposed to start talking? after how approx. how many hours?

geez bump bump! the exams are all over!!

Can we discuss international ones?
Does anyone know the answer to the 2nd last question on the math section. The one with the number of integers that fulfilled the solution? It was either 53 or 52…

it was def 53.

yes it was 53

x could be any number from 7 to 59… 59-7= 52
and then you add 1 because you didnt count the 7

and i definitely thought the vocab was VERY hard… the passages were easy though

let’s discuss CR…esp the passages! i know all the answers to the Sentence completion

what did you guys put for the question that was asking for the function of the 2nd paragraph in 2nd passage? (dual passage) it was either “acknowledge alternative view” or “develop the idea presented in 1st paragraph”…

Gah. I had 53, then erased it because I thought it was too easy. Over thought and didn’t include the first number hence 52 :(. There goes my 800.

I found the vocab ok. I think I got a majority of them.

The lawyer passage sucked. The last 4-5 questions made me read both passages twice or thrice.

^^ acknowledges the other point of view
i was gonna put “refute the author of passage 1” but i realized the paragraph just said the other view
and then the 3rd paragraph argued against it

Acknowledge alternate view.

The author didn’t present the idea of lawyers being bad in the first paragraph.

did anyone get the math “if you study for a test… will u pass” logic question?
im pretty sure that was the experimental section

yeah yeah i put acknowledge too. what about the father thing? the quote was something like his father didn’t have a glimmer in his eyes blah blah and the narrator was uncertain about the glimmer…or something like that. i think i put E but do not remember the wording… my friends said the answer to this question was something like “display of emotion blahblah”.

anyone notice a formatting error in the writing section?

in one of the last paragraph questions… the names of the books werent italiczed… but everything else was… weird lol

I think it was the last one.

If you failed, you didn’t study because…
if you study, you will pass means that 100% success of passing if you studied (will = certain).

I said display of emotion that he wasn’t sure was there or not. Glimmer = tears = emotion?

p->q equals ~q->~P. so it’s if i didn’t pass, i didn’t study.

yeah it was either “he was truly confused about his fathers motives”
or “he thought there was a subtle display of emotion which may or may not have been there”

i put the subtle display of emotion

rly? i did not concentrate on the writing section so obviously i didn’t notice…lol writing was quite easy.

oh
so do we know which section is experimental then?

what did u guys get for the circumference of the small circle inside the 3 large circles?. it was the 20 min section

i got 10 pi
