<p>I have a question about the English subscores. I recognize that the subscores aren’t added together to get the total score for English, and I’ve read everything I could find on the topic on the ACT website.</p>
<p>Some people have reported a 36 in English with subscores of 18 and 18. One person reported a 35 in English with subscores of 18 and 17. My daughter received a 35 in English with subscores of 18 and 18. How can this be?</p>

<p>Eng: 35 (18 and 18… ***, up from 32)
Math: 29 (so disappointed, got a 32 in the 8th grade in math ffs)
Reading: 31 ( drop from 33…grrr)
Science: 32 (elated with this, science has always been my worst. Up from a 27!)</p>
