Wow, i didn’t really feel confident about this at all, pretty pleased with my results. So is this better than a 2040 superscored SAT?

i went to to the act website and got my score but my writing portion isnt graded yet. so go check.

hmm and why would u take your act again if u got a 33? and why would you ask what a 35 would be on the sat. everyone knows its high enough. jesus

how do you view the act scores?

First time taking:

Ahh so close to the 36! But I’m happy with the 35

I am an international student (Central Europe) and I took the ACT without Writing cold. (Writing was not offered internationally on this test date, for some reason.) This is what I’ve got.

Composite Score: 34 (33.5)

English: 33 (18/15)
Math: 34 (18/17/15)
Reading: 31 (17/14)

Judging by the indignant responses to 30+ scores, I assume it is a good score. However, it seems to convert to 1510 CR+M, the exact score that I have on my SAT Reasoning. Hence, I would like to ask several questions.

1) Does the non-Writing test carry any relevance to school which indicate they want a Plus Writing test? Judging by a cursory look I took on college requirements, that is the absolute majority of the schools I am interested in.
2) The age-old question: should I retake? There only is a two-point space for improvement; however, given that I failed to prepare for the test and take into account its specific constraints (for instance, my 31 on Reading does not compare to my 800 CR), how likely is it that I could get my score up?

Once again, I apologize to all who I might offend by seemingly boasting my achievement. I assure you that I am surprised by, pleased with and thankful for my score already. However, I have to apply for full financial aid as an international, which means that I stand against much greater odds than most of you do.

Dear lord. And I was over the moon about my 2140 last week.

Yay!!
R: 34
M:36
E:35

=35!!
This was my second time and I went up a point! There must have been a diabolical science curve, because I got a 36 on that last time! And superscored with the last test, I actually have a 36! Super exciting!

Congrats to everyone! Lots of great scores up today, and the important thing is that YOU are happy with it!

Ehh not too happy to be honest. Looking for that 36

Last time i got

R:35
S: 28
C:33

So i guess that’s good but i ran out of time for the first time on reading

^how many did you end up guessing on reading?

Probably 2-3. The reason I ran out of time was because I dropped my paper so my proctor had to go get it and talk to me to make sure i wasn’t cheating. That just killed my focus.

So do you think it was possible that there was a curve on the reading? Sorry to hear about that though, it sucks when you have a bad proctor.

By the way in case you haven’t noticed yet, you have a 36 composite superscored. :)

Maybe but I really don’t think so because i really didn’t read the last story. I noticed but not many schools around ohio superscore right?

Can someone tell me how to view the ACT scores? its my first time and I cant figure it out from the website.

Not really sure about ohio, but I know a few prestigious schools that do.

So everyone keeps talking about super scoring… I understand SAT super score, but are there any top schools that super score ACT? Every school my daughter is looking at says all they look at is COMPOSITE ACT.

My rising senior forgot his calculator and scored a 29 in math (34 English, 35 reading, 29 science = 32 composite) A year ago he scored 27 in math so I expect he would probably normally score 30-32. If he is looking for a merit scholarship in computer science at Purdue (in state), should he take it again?
