Guess what my best subjects are in school ;)

Composite: 27
English: 30
Math: 21 (LOL. I’m definitely sticking to the SAT)
Reading: 32
Science: 26

I thought I’d do better on this than the SAT, but I didn’t really study for it. But now that I’ve taken both once, I think I’ll stick with the SAT. It feels more comfortable to me.

Your a very a lucky **** mediocre- definitely not mediocre!! Hey but nice job, it’s great not having to worry about the ACT now- have fun and enjoy the rest of high school!

This was the first time I took it, and frankly, I didn’t know that each section went by so quickly! But now that I’ve tried it once, I’m going to study this summer and retake it in the fall. I really want a 32. Is that reachable after getting a 30?

I was super excited when I got my scores on Monday–I was aiming for 34. Not so excited when I got my essay score: 8. Blech. Good thing it doesn’t factor into the composite. (also odd: math is by far my best subject. I’m slightly confused, but I really can’t complain right now)

i took the ACT as a standby and didnt receive my scores until today, but it was well worth the wait, im a sophomore btw

Comp: 36
E: 36 (18/18)
M: 36 (18/18/18)
R: 36 (18/18)
S: 36
Essay: 11
combined english score…35
the stupid essay screwed my perfect 36, but oh well, its good enough
no more SAT(hopefully)!!!
its an improvement from my 34 composite two years ago, with
E: 35 (18/16)
M: 32 (18/17/15)
R: 33 (18/15)
S: 36
Essay: 8
combinded english score…31

Got my scores a few weeks ago online and by mail (online on Monday, June 28 and by mail during the same week).

Composite: 34 (Darn! One more point on English/Reading would’ve rounded up my Composite to 35!)
English: 34 (17/16) - I felt good about this one, although I’m usually not so good at English/Reading exams
Math: 36 (18/17/18) - What? I missed one, stupid mistake probably on Algebra or Geometry or something lol Oh well, doesn’t matter b/c I got lucky on the curve…
Reading: 31 (17/15) - Darn it, it’s a decent score…I could easily improve for the next time!
Science: 36 - Yay!
Essay: 8 - Screwed up, couldn’t think and I just bs the prompt…Doing more practice tests would probably help…
Combined English/Writing: 31 - Argh…

Curves (estimated):
English: -3 subscore points = -2 on Composite –> +1
Math: -1 subscore points = -0 on Composite –> +1
Reading: -4 subscore points = -5 on Composite –> -1
Science: No subscore, probably no curve

Overall, I did pretty good. I was hoping for a 32 or 33, but was in for a pleasant surprise with a 34! I definitely still have room for improvement, but I’m satisfied…for now.

I still have lots of time if I plan to go four years high school, since I’m an incoming Junior (just finished Sophomore year).

umm, i really didnt study that much, i guess i amassed the info for the test at school in my classes, and i also had some SAT prep classes a couple years back, so those helped
i actually dont believe i got a 36, i thought i was going to get a 35 with a 35 in reading and science (because i really had to use the restroom and couldnt during science so i couldnt concentrate)

Gotta love the disparity there. English/Reading = 35. Math/Science = 36.

First time taking it, and it looks like the only time! I’m pretty excited.

Essay score = 8. Not surprised, seeing that I did not try hard enough on it and didn’t really get to finish either. (SAT essay score was 11, so I’m not really worried).
