My composite was 23: 27 on english; 18 on science (?); 20 on math (?)

I disappointed myself. Bad scores for an aspiring Electrical , huh? First attempt, end of Sophomore year

I suprised myself with my scores…
Composite: 35
Reading: 36
Math: 34
Science: 33
English: 35

But… my writing score was horrible - a 6. Is there anyway to not send just the writing score?

Um…colleges look at your essay. No way around it.

Depends. What grade are you in, and where you plan on applying to college?

Well, I did take the SAT, which I did slightly worse on in general, but I did do better (thought still not great) on the essay/writing section.

Oh well… That’s what I get for not even looking at the ACT format beforehand… that question just completely stumped me for some reason.

Have never seen so many 36’es… Please, CC’ers, don’t take the September one ![]()
You all will screw the curve

ps. Congrats!

@Lisamarix aren’t those exactly benchmark? In which case, you’re probably fine.

@puggly123 i just finished my junior year and i plan on going to a SUNY

is there any way we can see our essays?

“@puggly123 • i just finished my junior year and i plan on going to a SUNY”

In that case, I think that you should really try to get your composite score up to at least a 24, which seems about average for SUNY’s.

with all the 36s, does that mean the curve and the test were relatively favorable?

34 Composite:
-English 31
-Math 36
-Reading 35
-Science 32
-Essay 10/12

@puggly123 ; alright . thanks for the advice .

@Mastermania:

No

34!! AHHH SO HAPPY! Especially after my 205 PSAT, 2050 and 2070 SATs XD. It was my first time taking it and I literally signed up 3 days before the test because my GC told me to take it for the heck of it. I love him right now!

35 English
35 Math
33 Reading
34 Science
9 Essay >.< but apparently most colleges don’t care about the essay THAT much even though it brings my English down to a 32 but even with that my composite is still a 34 even if that’s not how they calculate it :P
