June 2010: Biology

it was a, that was an easy one, if u studied the trophic energy levels and pyramids, producers ALWAYS have the most energy available to them. and how would oxygen be a limiting factor?

UhmM. I was thinking about the AP Primary Productivity lab and how we measured dissolved oxygen and all that…IDkK.

@desigirl, I think you would crack a 750

do u guys think that the curve will be high on this test?

the observation question was about how the scientist noticed that the black and white moths inhabited the forest or something.

Best case scenario for me is 5 wrong right now.
Worst case scenario is 8 wrong.

@xxrunning

I don’t see how that could be inference since it stated something like, “In the forest there are moths with light spots and fully dark colored moths”. I assume their certainty was past the point of inference.

hopefully jazzyindy! :smiley: i STUDIED this entire year…and spent the last two wks…studying…studying…outlining…studying. :frowning: i need to do well… i was totally freaking out! i know i got like a couple wrong…but still!

^ most likely since it wasnt that simple as past exams Ive seen.

Idk compared to the test in the CB book, it’s about the same difficulty, i think. So the curve should roughly be the same.

i think so… it was harder then the May one in alot of people’s opinion so idk… i hope… Hoping for a 700+ praying for a 750+

^ most likely since it wasnt that simple as past exams Ive seen.

What were the scores to your past exams? And the number of questions you think you got wrong?

Im curious and talking to jazzyindy

same here almostk8tr! :frowning: im so nervous! i think right now i omitted 3, i think i got like a couple wrong…im expecting like a 700+! do u think i might get it?! ugh…im SO SCARED! AAAAAH!

Which did you all find harder, SAT Bio or the AP Bio?

I thought that the AP Bio test was harder, but not by too much.

so how does the curve work?

what is the raw score to get a solid 700? jw…idk. i have kaplan. and its kindo like CB from what u guys are telling me. But, idk?!

So, what was the answer to the DNA to RNA One? WAs it RNA to RNA?

If it is, then im cancelling my score. I cannot live with anything below 750. lol

I didnt take official CB bio exams but I took a couple from sparknotes, PR, and kaplan. Most of them were 800’s with a few 780’s.
For this test I “think” I got about 3-4 questions wrong and omitted only 1.

does anyone remember the ansewr to the last question? remember the enzymes experiment for BIO-M?

^ ooh i remember the last one, I think it was to keep the enzymes cool to avoid denaturing, made the most sense to me.

guyz, anyone? atleast tell me the raw score for 700?
