I’m at -1 (put tenacious instead of apoplectic) which is shocking because I got -7 and like a 700 on my previous one…

I do have a tendency to skip, randomly omit, smudge answers though ugh.

^ Haha, that’s what happens when everyone contributes to the lists I can’t remember everything perfectly myself, but thanks to what everyone else remembered, I can :)

My last SAT CR was an absolute nightmare. I had no idea what I was doing. This time, I fared far better although I’ll probably get only a mid 700 as opposed to the numerous 800s on this site.

^ A mid 700 is still something to be proud of Many, many people find the CR section to be the most difficult (and I don’t blame them either).

for the disdain one I cant remember what I put but was Contemptious a choice? I either put that or Disdain somethind negative.

^ it was “impatience and disdain”

^ wait it was the answer had disdain and impatience or were they two different choices?

I probably put disdain and impatience if that was ONE answer? please could you clarify lol

i cant beleive im on CC at this hour at night i have no life …lol

It was one answer.

so disdain and impatience was one answer? so it should be corrected on the consolidated list.

so i guess i got it right then lol.

I think it was one answer - about how the girl viewed her parents?

felt “disdain” for parent’s nostalgia about tearfully watering plants it was disdain AND impatient

what was the “appalled question”?

Does anyone remember domineering being an answer? I’m pretty sure that’s the last one we’re missing.

^ yeah i had that it was alluding to domineering something.

also what was the appalled one? what were the choices? was it the one where the old granny was ****ed ?

^ does anyone remember the question? If it was the boy and the author, I think it was his lack of control over the situation, not alluding to domineer anything

^ that was another question.

alluding domineering made the most sense the other likely choice was unaware lack of control but that made no sense since he was aware so the best answer was def alluding domineering

What was the question and what passage was this in?

Wow… the vocabulary really was annoying!!! Misery loves company. At least most of the passages were interesting. i can’t stand the ones that give you some excerpt from some wordy 19th century novel you have to read twice to just to comprehend.

Disdain and impatience were separate.
Disdain was with nostalgia; impatience with people who…something, I can’t remember.

It was lack of control because even though the boy was reading, borges was “in control.”

Did anyone else remember getting “alluding to domineer something” as one of the answers? Because I certainly don’t… :(
