Um, I got a 700 Math II and a 710 Lit, and there’s no way I’d retake. Those are very decent scores, well above average and certainly on-par for almost all schools except like MIT and Ivies. Why does everyone on this thread say like “780…■■■ I suck so bad…”?

710 U.S. History
600 Literature

I’m definitely retaking History (as I know I can do better) and I’m not even sure if I should try Lit again. If I do, I probably won’t score that much higher. I might just take a math or science subject test instead.

Chem: 800
Math II: 760
US History: 770

I’m ecstatic about my Chem score and reasonably happy with the other two. I wish I had worked faster in the beginning of the Math II test; I ended up having to skip over 10 questions because I didn’t pace myself. Not going to retake any though.

I don’t understand how the AP Calc test was really easy for me when the SAT II Math II was challenging. Haha.

Math II: 650
Chem:700

I’m okay with my Chem score since I got a B in the class.
I’m usually an A student in math!!! What do I do to improve my math grade!!!

If you got a >700 score, how did you study/review for the Math II?

I’m not shooting for the top tier Ivies, but I really want to get at least 700 to have a good shot at the second/third tier schools.

A lot of schools do not even require the SAT subject tests especially second and third tier schools.

That’s the other thing – I didn’t study or review at all. I didn’t study for the SAT or ACT either though, and I managed a 2250 and a 34, respectively. After a certain point, a good score is a good score, and beating yourself up over 10 points or 1 question is ridiculous and unhealthy.

sparklesheen, thats why I took math II after precalc last year. haha I bet I would have managed like a 700 or something this year (I got an 800 last year). All that martix stuff etc… yeah…

Help!!!..I plan on retaking SAT II Math.

Please give me some advice for studying for it!!!

^ Barron’s really helped me. I hadn’t yet gone over all of the topics that the test covered in class, but going over Barron’s and doing a couple of practice tests gave me the knowledge I needed to have to get an 800.

Chem: 790 I was pretty surprised, I was expecting a 740’ish : )

Math II: 800
Biology E: 710

do you guys think i should retake bio?

Made a 760 chem, 800 Math II…
That was my first SAT II; I am amazed at all the “800 chem/800 math ii’s”!

Chem 800

I agree with cookiedoogy, I thought my actual score was 20~30 points less, but I guess the curve was easier. I wonder what the percentiles are…

Im only a sophmore in HS

WH- 660- I did not touch a World history review book or textbook since the AP exam lol

Math I- 590- I am one of the top math students in my school but i did not realize how much time i would need on each question and i ended up omitting about 10-11 questions and randomly bubbling in about 5 lol

I got a 730 for Physics and a 740 for Chemistry. I’m relatively happy with these but I plan to retake one of them because I had 2 days to study for these. Not bragging at all, just had my school exams (live in South Africa) before my subject tests, but fortunately some of my school science coincided with the Physics and the Chemistry so you could say I’d had some prior “preparation”. But if I were to pick one to focus on, which would everyone on here think best, Physics or Chemistry?

Thanks for your answer, mxmmstudent!

Math 2: 800

I was ecstatic when I got my score, but then I got on CC and began feeling normal again. LOL Congrats, everyone else!

Score reports are now up.
