So how is everyone preparing? Did you take an AP Course to prepare for it?

I'm thinking that it will be a little more difficult than the AP Exam so I am preparing a bit.

I'm doing:

Sparknotes Exams
SAT II Blue Book
Flash Cards

For practice tests I am just going to use the blue book ones.
I am also using the cram packet:

the last week before the exam
and
[AP US HISTORY - Ultimate Study Guide.doc - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage](Box)
the night before the exam.

I have also taken AP US History this year so I think that helps as well.

Yeah I took the AP Class as well but apparently, as many CC’ers have said, that SAT is much harder than the AP Exam.

I think I got at least a 4 on the AP Exam.

shooting for a 700+ on this exam!

Any score predictions?

I haven’t taken APUSH. I’m a freshman but my college counselor told me to get the SAT 2’s out of the way while I’m not too busy, so I’m studying with the AMSCO AP text book, I 1)read through 2)make flash cards, and 3)read through again. Does anybody think the official us history sat subject practice tests are necessary? I accidentally bought the wrong book on Amazon.

I’m using AMSCO as well, and doing the flashcards thing.

The tests in there are pretty helpful.

I have 1 or 2 released exams from class so I think I’ll flip through those.

As a freshman, this is a very impressive endeavour. I wish you the best of luck!

Thispakistanigir: thank you, I wish you the best of luck as well.
I took the Sparknotes test today and got a 690. Ugggghhhh. So now I’m going to read through the Sparknotes book and glossary, plus look at xsCaffeine’s links. So far, I’m very satisfied with AMSCO but it seems a few major cultural trends are left out, as well as info about IWW/Wobblies. Or maybe I just zoned out while reading about it.
