Let me get at some kinds @billabong
Confirm 1 and 2

3 is about jobs in the north no question bout it

@ all the kids foaming about federalist papers its saying that a republican gov. can stop factions because a repub gov. minimizes the effect of factions

O and the oil companies

LOOLOOOO yes they bought competetion to lower prices loloooll nezz-- the reasons to buy competition is to make your own prices

controlling output choice had something about the price next to it
it was either about making price high or something like that
and since its the monopoly
the company probably wouldn’t want to make price lower (its not 21st century that we are talking about)

so its controlling output and making price high

@kaituva - i’m not sure if it’s monetary funding or not, but i know he advocated spending more money to save the ec (which is the same thing, i guess!)

also:: can someone please confirm whether it was windfall taxes or the other thing for the oil crisis??

"Once again, the Great Migration graph was from 1910 to 1920 and featured Michigan and Indiana, which makes the Northern industries answer wrong on 2 levels.

The KKK had a huge resurgence in the 1910s. "

How is it wrong on 2 levels? Michigan, especially Detroit, was a huge industrial city by that time, made possible by canals and railways.

To add on that, in AMSCO’s book it stated that blacks were working the industrial jobs during WWI.

I also clearly remember there being a African American migration to the North. More evidence of this is the Harlem Renaissance.

for the new deal one it should be monetary funding because he made emergency banking act and severel reforms in the banking which is monetary policy

of course factions are inevitable, that’s common sense. madison’s entire argument consists of ways to limit the divisiveness of the republic due to factions. i’m positive factions was the answer choice.

it had to be the northern industries. the KKK reached its peak in 1924-25 when it controlled a few seats in the Senate, but by 1930 the organization had lost all the power it gained.

In all fairness the first great migration was caused by both a lack of the KKK in the north and new jobs—from wikipedia below
“The enormous expansion of war industries created job openings for blacks—not in the factories but in service jobs vacated by new factory workers.”
I would still have to say thats its prob new industrial jobs but it really is close

@english yes it was an increase in slaves —least thats what i believe i got SAT on by this test haha lolz so fuunny

I have problems with these two. First, why was it converting king-given privileges to rights? The king didn’t really give them any “privileges,” he was just lax. I forgot what I put though lol. Second, I got that answer at first, but didn’t it say that they were angry b/c the Br. govnt was taxing them just for the spite of it? Not even to raise revenue? I ended up putting the w/o representation choice for this question.

“”“Monetary policy, as per the Macroeconomic definition, are actions taken by the Federal Reserve. The right answer is government spending.”“”

I confirm this. New Deal policy was marked by Keynesian theories, I’m certain of that.

“”"CONFIRM PLEASE:
Was there windfall taxes or legislation against pollution in response to the oil embargo?
What was the answer for the Marshall court? (and why, if you don’t mind) [I wrote that they made a bunch of laws unconstitutional]
@dhamz: So, your saying that there was an increase in slavery for the manumissions question? “”"
