June 2010: US History

I agree about the African-American student non-violence

And it’s definitley “colonies export manufactured goods”. Harambee is correct

^YES! That’s what I put for that question.

Also, I can confirm that the question about the Whiskey Rebellion was about the federal government imposing an excise tax.

i agree with english1100. i also put industrialization

I agree with the excise tax for the whiskey rebellion

However, I have noooo idea about the New South question… I was debating between idustrilization and the other one… it was hard :/

It was industrialization.

— What was the answer to the John Marshall??

~ i don’t remember anything about making federal more powerful than states… i thought it was that he declared unconstitutional a bunch of laws??

john marshall was national supremacy

damnit missed the mercantilism one then. but i agree with english, new south was industrialization

What was the question (as close to verbatim as you can remember!) and the choices (samesies) for the ‘In the Antebellum south between 1820 - 1860 - the African American population exploded’ question?

^ I don’t think so personally because the industrialization also included that the south would collaborate with the north more, which doesn’t seem right.

late 1870s=after hayes came in meaning no more northern troops

@nantux - are you answering my question about the antebellum??

could you please clarify what the question itself said?

there was a war of 1812 question
it asked which of the following was NOT associated with it

–> u.s. gained new territories; can anyone confirm?

was this test harder or easier than previous years??? (from a guessing perspective??)

looking at the sat ii test provided by the collegeboard book, i thought this test was MUCH harder… and that test had a curve of 10 pts!!

i was refering to the industrialization question… south was trying to become less reliant on the north

for the antebellum q it was explosion in african american population (cottin gin) dont remember specific q&a tho, sry

i can confirm that 1812 q

i don’t remember the antebelleum question at all haha…and yeah @jello, the 1812 one was that it didn’t have any territorial gains

i can confirm that u.s. did not gain any territories after the conclusion of the war of 1812.

also…the question about major trends between 1865-1900, was the answer about trusts/monopolies?

@golden, yeah i put that…i was stuck between the trusts and one other

There was this one question like which war gave america isn’t first imperalisitic holdings?

I put Spanish-American, but it was a guess
