there was one goes like

that the students’ work was criticized by the author become as no surprise

there was one goes like

that the students’ work was criticized by the author become as no surprise

omg i love you guys, metaphorically. i killed the non-experimental section

that the students’ work was criticized by the author become as no surprise

^
I think I had that as the only no error?

Blergh. What was the one about the Chinese emperor – the most significant debate being the one about “any types”? I put that “any types” was wrong, that it should really be “any other types”…

On the art question I put no error

@ fledgling
I wasn’t sure about that one, almost put what you put but decided no error

Blergh. What was the one about the Chinese emperor – the most significant debate being the one about “any types”? I put that “any types” was wrong, that it should really be “any other types”…

I did that too.

I have no idea if that’s right though…the original sentence just sounded wrong to me.

yea, you’re correct. it wasn’t a proper comparison…

@fledgling
i put “any other types” also.

Urghhhhh. The lack of a definite response to this question is really getting to me. starts getting OCD Can someone give us an answer? Pleaseeeeeee??

EDIT: Never mind. Thanks guys! :)

there was one question like

…, once thought to be 150, was 300years old…
something like that
is this no error?

Haha, I was getting bothered too.
Thanks guys. : )

…, once thought to be 150, was 300years old…
something like that
is this no error?

The one about Stonehenge right? (I’m shocked at how many of these I remember. - . - )

There was an error. It said have been for 300 years or something…wrong verb somewhere.

Or are you talking about another question? XD

^ a tense error i believe?

^ there was a tense error in the Stonhenge question at the beginning I think

CONSOLIDATED LIST (non-experimental)
-please confirm, correct, improve, elaborate wherever you can
-Venus Williams section was experimental
-currently thinking there were 2 no errors

ERROR IDENTIFICATION
compared Jupiter’s weather to Earth — “Earth” should be “that of Earth”
Although …, but … — Although is redundant so answer is A
sister and I put our hand in lake — should be “hands”
Stonehenge question — “has been” wrong tense
a woman who would have “went” to college — should be “would have gone”
women became a person in their own right — plurality mismatch on “a person”
… one …, you — pronoun inconsistency, “you” is the error
Number of something, …, are growing — should be “is growing”
intent about — should be “intent on”
enjoyed opera more than all types of performance — should be “all other types”
“That their works were criticized by famous artist who … no surprise to …” — no error
i got #29 (last of section) as no error. anyone remember the question? anyone confirm?

PARAGRAPH BASED
In my case…
insert after the first sentence about scientists, i think #8
delete the sentence

“They also” purr when they are stressed

SECTION 10

12 D “as a result of either”

Draconian question(#13) Fine as is. “as is indicated by…” A

I believe there was some misplaced modifier as #28. Bla bla bla, wrong subject …
Can anyone confirm this?

Number of something, …, are growing — should be “is growing”

can someone elaborate on this question??

in paragraphed based questions, there was one question where we need to connect two sentences…

All i remember for sure is “number”, then a clause separated from the main sentence by commas, then “are” and i think “are” is the error because it should be “is”

I think this was in the first couple questions of the Error Identification section.

Anyone remember more?

i don’t remember the exact number question, but “is growing” is correct, that’s what i put…number is singular, numbers is plural, so it should be “is”.

I think the combination question was something like this:
Cats often purr when they are content; for example, my cat …

Also, i think the last question (that we dont have) was something like
“seems to be the one” –> “is certainly plausible”

can someone confirm these?

For paragraph…was there something about deleting nearly? D:

Number of something, …, are growing — should be “is growing”
^
I thought it was is growing and should have been are growing?
