1 : being at once verbose and ill-organized
2 : not concentrated or localized <diffuse lighting=“”></diffuse>

so the answer is spare… i am pretty sure

yeah … there was a sentence saying “sine cats do not have nearly diseases”

deleting nearly?

Yea it was spare and for example. I also put is growing.

yea the sentence was: since cats do not have nearly as many bone diseases as dogs, this explanation seems to be the one.

I thought the best was to improve was to make “seems to be the one” –> “is certainly plausible”

ya but the question in the exam wasnt nearly as correct as ^^

Any one know is the essay count into the writing section score? I see some people with 11 on the essay but still 800 on the writing section.

ya but the question in the exam wasnt nearly as correct as ^^
^
What was the answer then? ://

CONSOLIDATED LIST (non-experimental)
-please confirm, correct, improve, elaborate wherever you can
-Venus Williams section was experimental
-currently thinking there were 2 no errors

ERROR IDENTIFICATION
compared Jupiter’s weather to Earth — “Earth” should be “that of Earth”
Although …, but … — Although is redundant so answer is A
sister and I put our hand in lake — should be “hands”
Stonehenge question — “has been” wrong tense
a woman who would have “went” to college — should be “would have gone”
women became a person in their own right — plurality mismatch on “a person”
… one …, you — pronoun inconsistency, “you” is the error
Number of something, …, “are growing” — should be “is growing”
intent about — should be “intent on”
enjoyed opera more than all types of performance — should be “all other types”
“That their works were criticized by famous artist who … no surprise to …” — no error
i got #29 (last of section) as no error. anyone remember the question? anyone confirm?

PARAGRAPH BASED
In my case…
insert after the first sentence about scientists, i think #8
delete the sentence
“They also” purr when they are stressed
Cats purr when content; for example, my cat…

“seems to be the one” –> “is certainly plausible” OR delete nearly?

SECTION 10

12 D “as a result of either”

Draconian question(#13) Fine as is. “as is indicated by…” A

I believe there was some misplaced modifier as #28. Bla bla bla, wrong subject …
Can anyone confirm this?

I put that as well ccuser9023.

I put “is certainly plausible” b/c seems to be the one is just oddly worded.

hmm, I remember I was stuck between the “nearly as correct as” or the “plausible” choice…

did anyone get the dinosaur question
from improving sentences?

and there was one thats like (identifying error)
Although implements … but …

&& the last error question #29
something about fashion students, …
was there an error for that if anyone remembered?

Wait the one about being criticized by the famous artist is no error? I put “that” as the error.

xxsleepyhead - i think the dinosaur one is the one listed as redundancy error on consolidated list.

also, does anyone remember a question where 3 foods or something were being compared and “more” was used instead of “most” ?

I put “is certainly plausible” b/c seems to be the one is just oddly worded.

^Yep. 10 char.

i thought it was delete nearly for the cats question

For my essay, I talked about the immigration problem (referred to the new law in Arizona) and issues with racial diversity/tensions/violence within America.

can someone explain why they chose to delete “nearly” in the cats question?
