<p>For anyone in New York who took the English regents today...</p>
<p>What did you put for the first question of listening? It was like The author included the story about climbing Mount Everest to....</p>
<p>Was it to capture the audiences' interest/attention </p>
<p>or convey personal beliefs?</p>
<p>i put increase interest…some of those questions were hard b/c they were vague and i took ap =[ </p>
<p>the conversion chart is horrible too =[</p>
<p>yes! I put that too and so did most of my friends that I asked. But some people keep arguing that it’s the other one…</p>
<p>And i know the curve is horrible. Compared to the US History curve, this is insane…i hope I got the 6 on the essay!</p>
<p>i know, otherwise we automatically drop to 94, thats so unfair looking at past regents curves</p>
<p>and for the one with “I might just have to find out” or something like that for the listening, was he displaying curiosity or determination? i put determination</p>
<p>and for the girl who kept everything, were one of the answers revealing? do you remember any other questions from that passage because i had trouble with number 12 but i cant remember the question lol</p>
<p>I said “establish personal beliefs” I think thatthe audience would have been interested either way and the author stressed the point that even though climbing everest was great the other things he did in his life were more significant. I think that the part about everest was too long to just capture the interest of the audience</p>

<p>colleges don’t care about regents</p>
<p>Wellll I think they use them to compare you to other students from new york, bit that’s really the only purpose</p>
<p>@kingsquirrel: regents get u ur diploma and this is a very important regents that goes with ur diploma. bomb this and u don’t graduate~. also for most schools the regents is factored as a final for ur final average. so indirectly colleges do give a crap. ALSO, alot of state schools, and bs/md programs in ny do look at ur regents scores~</p>

<p>oh the choice about redecorating? that was the one i was thinking about too but then the mother was saying something about how she didnt want the daughter to be overwhelmed later on so she should clean it now when they were moving idk i dont like english =[</p>
<p>do you guys know when the answers will go up? the answers from the physics regents still arent up and that test was wednesday so do all the answers go up after all the tests are over?</p>
