I think it’s humble too sharkass. Yea you have to take it in context of the passage

It seems like a lot of the questions/passages were recycled from last year’s http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1335788-may-2012-sat-ii-literature-college-confidential.html

Yess i know right ^^

What was the one where we could pick multiple statements about the relationship between art and life (something like that)? I picked 2 - all except the one beginning with “paradoxically.”

And what was the one about the purpose of the spies’ death or something? Effectiveness (I put this since the notes said that they “died well”) or to demonstrative the fleeting nature of life?

I think that was I and III Megalomaniac, and I picked that too. For the second question, I said that the purpose was to demonstrate to the guy whose name starts with R how the theater stuff goes or something.

Yep, I definitely chose I and III.

And for the impression of the poem on the piano poem, I said that the man was imagining a woman playing the piano

In terms of the play excerpt, what did you say the tone of the piece was? I said that it was philosophical and grave.

Did people say “imaginative flights?” It seemed to me more like “self-delusional episodes.”

Does anybody remember the “thawed eye” question from the piano passage? I put that the usage meant that the piano playing evoked memories of war. Completely stumped on that one

I put something with “tears” for that one.

Anyone else have an opinion on the purpose of the spy’s death in the play? That was pretty much the only one I was uncertain about. My answer had something about effectiveness (since they did “die well”…)

And I put imaginative flights. It didn’t seem abnormal enough to warrant “self delusional episode.”

" Man hath stil either toyes, or Care,"
^what did people put for this one?

also, for this poem “A Letter to Her Husband, Absent Upon Public Employment”, there was a question on this line:
"Till nature’s sad decree shall call thee hence; "

^ i put something like, for the answer choice “she realizes that death is no longer an end…or something to worry about” etc. what did u guys put

Don’t you think it was hysterical outbreaks?

can someone please create a list - i’m really bad at those

Yes someone pls make a list

did anyone think this was super hard?

I’m pretty sure the “Till nature’s sad decree shall call thee hence” answer had something about how their current separation reminded her of their coming, more permanent separation - death.
Toyes and care was trifles and trouble.
