For the same reason men like to lie about the size of their peninsulas :)) It’s a pride thing. Yeah, seriously though, whoever concocted those questions was on lysergic acid or something.

@mizejonathan17 when you do get the answers please post them…we will love you :D

Of course @Jarjarbinks23 ! It’ll be my pleasure.

It will likely be late July/ early August before that happens though, as I got my Q&A materials for the January SAT in early April…

In China, they release their Gaokao (National standardized test) answers within the next few days of taking the exam. Maybe they could do the same here for the SAT

In South Korea, I’m pretty sure they release their suneung answers the day of. Like they go home, enter their answers on the computer, and get a result. But the korean suneung is like 1000x harder than the SAT and they can only take it once a year, so I’m not complaining :p

@humbugs lmao it’d be nice if they did that here. At least none of us would have nasty surprises on the score release dates.

And the suneung is still said to be the prime determinant for college acceptance … so if you get all As in HS and a ■■■■■■ suneung, a person who has a phenomenal suneung and no ECs/bad grades would proably have a better chance than you -_-.

@Jarjarbinks23 Wish it was the same for the SAT. My gpa is not too good. Actually, by CC standards, it’s awful (3.1 UW). I’m pretty sure I got at least a 2150 on this SAT, so I’m hoping it will help out my chances at some decent state schools. At this point, unless I get around to writing/publishing that non-fiction book, Ivys are out of the picture for me

@Jarjarbinks23 I’m still sure you have a good shot at getting into an Ivy! A 2150 is an amazing score

Well, I appreciate that. I guess we’ll see.

Yayayay I finally got how to work out that stupid line problem and it looks like I guessed correctly yusss

Did everyone go on summer vacation on the same day? Seems like a lot more people are posting today.

I’ve been on summer break for a week and a few days now. Did you guys just get out of school?

I’ve been out since the end of May gave me more time to study for the SAT

I still got a week to go. Finals starting tomorrow and ACT Saturday. Wooooo.

Do you guys think -3 on math will be a 730 or 740?

Probably a 720 or 730. I highly doubt it will go as high as 740. I sure wish it would though!

Is there any chance that scores come out before the 26th? Or do they come out at exactly 12 am?

From what I understand, they almost always come out around 3-5 AM EST.
