June 3 Sat Ii Results

800 Math Level 2! Yay, a score that I like. For once. =)

Literature: 620
World History: 620
Physics: 580

Ohh man I really should have studied lol, but oh well I already have a 720 USH and 760 on Math Level II and there's always the October test date to raise scores.

foggy....its certainly not necessary to retake a 690 in USH. If you don't have enough dates before ED, or youre not ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE you'll score higher, don't do it. Ten points is not that big of a deal.

But.....if you're already planning SAT IIs for the fall, and can just add on USH with pretty much a 100% chance of getting above a 700, i would retake. I got 700 on Lit, and considering I'm planning to take USH in October, i figured I'll just retake Lit (i neglected a passage and paced myself poorly, so i should do better). Its annoying to give more money to college board, but 18 bucks isnt that big of a deal.

790 - Math IIC
790 - Chemistry
800 - Biology

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! IM GONNA RETAKE MATH AND CHEMISTRY!

I took classes and can't believe I didn't get an 800.

chem: 790
french:690
='(
i hate french!

I think 750 is the cutoff for taking. I was going to retake if I had gotten 760 or below. Might as well fork out a bit more for my next SAT II taking. Need to take WH or chem anyway.

since so many ppl have the test fresh in their minds, riddle me this...what is the easiest science subject test to take. I suck bad at science, but I wanna take a science.

I got:
800 US history
790 Bio E

"You should not have told him how to get in in the first place."

Haha, I know. I'm not that ticked off. I actually asked him to check my chem score for me last year, so I can't blame him for checking my scores this year.

kamala89 - From what I hear about the French SAT II, it's a frightening beast. My French teacher talked about it a couple times, and she said that very few people at my school who took that test got the scores they wanted.

demeter - I disagree..the French SAT II looks decent. Slightly easier than the AP.

Really? Maybe the French curriculum is just too easy at my school. My French teacher kept on stressing how picky the regular test was.

Hm..yeah, could be I guess. I think the SAT II for French really does look much easier. I think you're right..different levels of French taught at different schools does make a difference.

I got a 740 on math IC this year, and I have a 730 for chem last year. I don't really feel like taking any more SAT II's - you guys are making me feel lazy!
I just MIGHT take something else (along the lines of USH, Spanish) in November. I'm aiming for UMich and maaaaybe Georgetown, if I get really really really brave.

Good Job to everyone who met their goal!

I got a 630 :( on the SAT II world history, which is really dissappointing because I am ranked # 1 in history out of my class so this score is embarrassing :(. Oh well, I guess its not too bad for someone who did not take AP nor honors world history. I am definetly retaking it hopefully I will get a 720+

800 Latin
780 French
740 Literature

I wanted an 800 in French, but I think 780 is okay for someone who has no connections with the language outside of school. And I would have been happier with a 750 in lit, but I'm not retaking.

I scored a pathetic 610 for Physics. I'm a Freshman, who took AP Physics B. I'll probably retake it in October.

..you took AP Physics B and scored a 610 on the SAT II?? Gosh. All the best of luck to you for your AP results.

Math IIC - 760

I really thought I would score higher on it. I really thought I nailed it. I don't really know how well I'd do next time IF I retake it, but so many people get 800's and I live in a pretty competitive area.

Suggestions?

I got a 770 in chem but in all my practice tests i was getting close to 800.
Do you guys think I should retake? I want to go into pre-med at ivies... What do you guys suggest?

As far as I've been told, the difference between a 770 and an 800 is statistically insignificant.
