June 4 2011 SAT Reasoning Post-Test Discussion

what was the answer to the question where f(x) was shown and then g(-1) was reflected over the x-axis [g(x) was not shown]…i think the answer choices were coordinates. i put that since its over the x-axis, the y coordinate would be negative? O.O

^ was that from the experimental section?

What was the 10% problem again?

uhm i dont know. i know i had 4 math sections, meaning one of them have to be experimental. I think this one was experimental, it was like later on in the test, with only 16 questions, this section was kinda hard =[

How many questions were on the experimental reading?

Ninja that was the one about the cumulative something or other in some city. It was the last question on one of the sections I think

Yeah the section your talking about was the one i had the most trouble in I’m hoping that’s experimental

was the reading passage about censuring experimental?

No I dont think so I had an experimental math and I had the one about censoring

So if I missed one question on math what does that mean my score is?

Probably 790-800

How do you know whether a section is experimental or not?

What do you guys think 2 skipped and minus 5 is for math?

It’s the section that not everyone has. Everyone does the same passages except for the experimental, which is different

@nervousjim, but we had the same math section, so how do u know thats experimental?

which did someone not have?

mother and daughter in kitchen

poetry breakthrough

garden/oral bullying

censor

You’re supposed to have 3 CR, 3 M, and 2 writing MC sections, and one essay. If you had an extra MC section in a particular subject, like 4 in math for example, then you know that subject was experimental for you, at least I think so…

I didn’t have the poetry breakthrough

yeah i had 4 math sections, BUT how do u know which section of the four is experimental?

WHAT WAS THE QUESTION FOR THE LAST GRID IN? APPARENTLY THE ANSWER WAS 16 OR 20. WHAT WAS THE QUESTION? oh, caps lock… my bad
