JUNE 4th CR SENTENCE COMPLETIONS

yeah, I put all of those except trenchant, i dont even remember seeing that.

and the cave one i originally filled in supine (the correct answer!) and then changed my mind 50 times and left it blank. it was the only one i left blank and made me really mad. so far i have that and the octopus one wrong but otherwise lookin' good.

oh and i too put "subtle" it was a toughie though for sure so i sympathize with those who didn't.

oh odan, where do u think my screenname comes from. lol

i think there were different versions of the SAT test

lol no kidding zero

I had three long verbal sections, and the "trenchant" was on the last of them, so it must have been an experimental.

does anyone remember the sentence completion where the choices were like : vanguard, a word that meant the beginning... and it was about a movement?

CHAGRIN!!!!

Does anyone remember wha sentence its from?

I had also 1 with trechant, but I had writing experimental

I had the same one as trinya. I put trenchant for the question with it, but I wasn't too sure if it was correct...

pps, that one was about California. California was the origin of a lot of movements, I don't remmeber the possible choices

skier, was vanguard the right answer for that? i know i didn't put that...

does anyone remember a sentence completion about how important integrity is in science?

Yeah, the vanguard one was about California, and I'm pretty certain that that was the correct answer.

how can you have an experimental with 3 sections? Isn't it supposed to have 3 sections? Consider, 3 sections for CR, 3 for math, 3 for writing (1st section is essay) + 1 experimental. So zening, if you had 3 CR sections, you did not have a CR experimental. So, where did you trenchant come from?

There are also 3 or 4 completely different versions of the test, so keep that in mind...

"Yeah, the vanguard one was about California, and I'm pretty certain that that was the correct answer."

do you remember any of the other choices?

I remember having
amalgam coin
reticent
extemporize
endemic
complicity exonerate from
chagrin(I put ennui wrong)
I don't remember what you guys posted up here.

No, not at all, sorry. :(

I just remember that the sentence said something about California being the starting place of a lot of culture reform, but I don't remember the exact sentence nor any of the other answer choices.

Elanor, the sentence with CHAGRIN went something like

"Forgetting her customers orders mortified Jane, and dropping all the dishes only increased her ____________"

originally i had put ennui but then i changed it to Chagrin thank goodness

miniscule / venemous? Was that it?

Nvm, it was the diminutive virulent thing. I couldn't remember the words, haha. And dammit, I want to remember the California choices, I don't even remember vanguard being a choice, but maybe that's just cause I elliminated the others? I def remember not having to think about it that much though.
