June 4th Sat/sat Ii!!!! Question!

Currently I am a junior, in the fall of 2005 I will begin applying to colleges and will probably apply early to one (I dont know which one yet). I know that in order to apply early you must have all your tests completed and what not, I was wondering if taking the SAT or SAT II June 4th is too late!? HOw long does it usually take to get the results after taking the SAT??

HELP?!

You can take up to one SAT or three SAT IIs in one sitting, so you could take the SAT I in june and three SAT IIs in October to send your scores in for EA/ED. Keep in mind though-- that gives you no time to retake the tests if you didn't do well the first time...I would take the March SAT and retake in June if I were you (that's what I'm doing). Oh yeah, results are usually available online about two weeks after you take the test.

Scores today are usually available on-line about 12 days after taking the test and, if you designate the college in your test app, are received by colleges about 4 weeks after the test. If you order scores sent outside the app they can take up to 5 weeks although usually it is less.

How fast that time period will be with the new SAT test where they have to grade a written section is not yet known although it will likely take a little longer.

As far as colleges that have early decision or early admission, each college publishes on its web-site the last SAT test date it takes for that. You will find that the last test date accepted is usually October or November of your senior year in high school.

Here's my schedule

old sat Jan
new sat march
sat 2 in chem math and bio May
new sat retake June
sat2 retake in oct

Thanks guys. I never knew you could take more than one test in one sitting. That's awesome and makes me quite happy seeign as my schedule is sooo busy and there's not enough dates for all of these tests to get done!!!

YAY!
