i know i messed up on the forst 2 passages. the first passage i had a lot of Cs and Hs and the second i had a lot of Bs and Gs. i had 5 mins for the last passage but i looked for the answers and was able to find them. it was mostly facts so that was good.

Anyone remember any questions and answers?

I know it says reading but too lazy to make a new thread…

For the writing prompt, what did you guys talk about??? My prompt was if students should take an active role in classrooms, & idk I did wrote it like it was an argumentative essay… ANYBODY? And my examples were diverse opinions, leadership skills, Socratic seminars, presentations… ECT

what did you guys get for questions on the last paragraph about sound?

someone please remember some questions and answers! preferably the 2nd passage.

for the guy who liked opera. what did you get for the one about the daughter relationship to the father. I put to please him.

and also the one question that gave quote from the passage and the answers were liked they feared heights, sat up in the theater. What did your guys put?

relationship to the father was wanting to please him. The “dizzying void” was because they sat high up in the theater.

^ Agree with PlayerZero.

Questions for the 2nd passage please.

was that the one about the ethnobotanist or something? with Native American stuff and plants?

Passage 2:
What was the purpose of the paragraph about the blue flower? (I’m not sure on this one) I said, to show that native american leaders are extremely knowledgeable.
Why does the museum represent? Naturally occurring landmark (first answer choice)
What represents the order of the Mall? Tulips
What does the 6th paragraph tell us about the author? Her sources of influence

Passage 3:

Why did the mother get fancy to go into town? For no reason.
How did feminism affect southern women? It didn’t because they were ahead of the curve.
How did the author feel about her mom talking to cousins? She hated it
How did the author feel about her and her mom going into town together? It was a cherished memory.
Who might the author be referring to when talking about country women? Her Aunt

^ Thank you. Was the “why does the museum represent” question the last question of the 2nd passage?

for the purpose question second passgae i dont think it was that

i think the blue flower one was they were ther before and were taken care of by the people

@Snayyan,

I think it was. The paragraph’s focus was on how the native americans were more knowledgable than her. At least that’s what I think it was.

What was the proportional question, 39?

no the paragraph focued on the actual flower. John i think remembered seeing it on a hunting trip with his dad which led me to believe the answer was " it was there long ago…"

I got the exact same answer as Preply on all of those

The blue flower was to show that they still exist, not that they were knowledgable.

I’m not sure SgtGutter. But the answer was frequency.

Really? I said dizzying void was due to a fear of heights. Otherwise wouldn’t it have just been “void”? And it previously describes how high they sat because it said they climbed a long row of stairs. I was; however , uncertain about it.
